Rex's POV
This whole day has been one big blur. I crawled into bed with Zadie last night, needing to have her in my arms, and slept soundly. For a few hours, that is. But it was better than nothing.
I got up early, had some coffee to get me going, and then got dressed for the day. We had Rebecca's ceremony this morning, followed by Lazlo's this afternoon. I had a lot of work to do in between and an announcement to make to the pack.
They had a right to know what was going on, but I also wanted to make it clear that we are doing everything in our power to keep everyone safe. They weren't going to like this, but I was banning all recreational trips to town. Keeping people within our borders was the best way to keep them safe.
