That's something. "We practice inclusive education here," Cindy explains. "Charlie would be in a classroom with neurotypical children, but Louise would provide individualized support and guidance. We've found that children on the spectrum often thrive when they have peer models to learn from." "And the other children?" I ask. "How do they... I mean, are they kind?" "We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying," Louise says firmly. "And we teach all our students about differences, about acceptance. Most of the kids here have been around children with special needs before. They're surprisingly accepting.
