Was Never Yours

It was our usual Monday morning. I was quietly sitting in the back when Mrs. Polavier walked in. "Good Morning class." "Good Morning Mrs. Polavier." "Okay, this may be unexpected but, I'd like to announce that you will be having a new classmate for this semester. Come in." We all looked to the door as it revealed a cute guy with his red backpack hanging on his shoulders. It was lightning McQueen! *murmurs* Our classroom was filled with noise as the boys who loves McQueen were trying to get the transferee's attention. "Shusshh! Silence class! Okay, now please introduce yourself." "I'm Arcus Geoffrey Philin. It's nice to meet all of you." Right after he introduced himself my classmates started to bombared him with questions in which he ignored. They all then got scolded by Mrs. Polavier. "Where should I sit Ma'am? "Oh right!" When Mrs. Polavier looked around the room for vacant seat, I felt nervous for the only empty seat was beside mine and I'm afraid she'll let the transfe--... "There! You can sit beside Sydney." I sighed as the transferee settles in beside me. I smiled awkwardly to welcome him but he seems to dislike it. "I'd appreciate it if you don’t smile at me." I was caught off guard by his remark but then again I can't seem to fight back. And so I just apologised. "Sorry." "Whatever." Our eyes met and for some reason I was drawn into It's depths and that's how I found my self investing in you.
