Unlike any other, Jamie grew up with a lot of friends, always loved by the community. Jamie was born and raised in a place called Indonesia, where she did her schooling till grade 5; she was a bright young student who got along with people easily. Jamie had long black hair and wore glasses 5.4ft while growing up she was always fascinated with nature, the sea and endless waves amazed her she would sit hours just staring into the beautiful ocean, Jamie,s mom, and dad split at a young age leaving her mother to raise her alone, Her mom was thirty-four years old and always smiled no matter how hard life struck at her, The in which they grew up most men thought when a man divorces a woman she is of no use to the next man. Their upbringings were different, and their lifestyle was different to other lives, they were the humble type who appreciated even one meal a day, the women in the city were hard-working and devoted themselves to their husband, Jamie,s father was a happy guy with a charming personality, He met Diah (his ex-wife) on the school they fell in love and have been together ever since, until one day shortly after Jamie was born, they were driving to a picnic. He turned around to tighten Jamie's seatbelt, and then suddenly he heard a scream, it was his wife Diah says to look in front of you, and suddenly he bumped into something his wife looked at him in fear and tears. He won't ever forget the look in her eyes. What was that he said looking over the steering wheel, Diah suddenly broke into tears as he then opens his door and walked to the front of the car, there laid a little girls body motionless, The girl laid on the ground holding a basket of apples the apples was scattered across the ground, he fell to his knees realizing it is his brother's daughters and was devasted by what happened.  He blamed Diah for what happened, for not fastening Jamie's seatbelt. Diah was sure she fastened the seatbelt when climbing in the car. However, they both failed to realize it was Jamie who loosens the seatbelt, and this made Mr. Intan started to lose touch with things around him, including friends and family, then one day. He came home drunk, started throwing these around, and hitting Diah; this is the first time Intan lifted his hands for Diah, this started to happen more often, and she could no longer live with it and demanded a divorce and sole custody of Jamie. At this point, everyone village started to talk, saying she could not keep her husband, which he left her. Ms. Diah chose to ignore their gossips and focused on her and Jamie. Days went by where Jamie got used to growing up with her dad, and days became months. Her mother started a small business selling fruit on the side of the street, which brought in an income enough to feed her and Jamie. Of course, Jamie, now being almost thirteen years old, was forced to do things more independently, and even though most of her friends had both parents and got an allowance, Jamie was doing house chores while her friends played outside and went out to functions. This is not the life Diah wanted for Jamie, so Diah took a quarter of daily takings and saved it up for Jamie to one day have a better life than she did. One day Diah got very ill and was unable to sell fruit on the street. Jamie offered to go; her mother refused and said she is too young to go out on the street and sell fruit. She must focus on her education. Jamie then said ok as she went to the market and sold the fruit. The day went quite well; everyone in the marketplace knew she was Diah, daughter and supported her asking where her mother was, she explained her mother is sick, and people felt sorry for her since they knew the families financial situation, evening came she came home, and her mother was asleep, she took the days takings and put it in a jar where they stashed their earnings in a cupboard, the next day her mother asked her where she was, she said she was studying over at a friend, there was enough food supply. Her mother invested in a lot of can food, the next day, she went back to the Marketplace, and to her surprise, the market was bustling. She made double the profit for that day. She then took the money she made, started using 50 percent of the takings, and started buying material. Her mom had an old machine in the basement, which she never used, so Jamie decided to take this opportunity and start selling clothes as well. She always loves the idea of fashion, the new trending clothes, and the unique, stylish designs. However, she also knew the people from her country village were poor; they barely made enough money for food. When getting home, she saw her mom was still asleep, and she went down to the basement and started making her own clothes; the first skipper she made was a pink top, and it was plain, but an average design then made a few more and put a 12 percent market to the material she bought making it affordable the next day she went to the Marketplace and laid down a sheet on the ground and displayed her the clothes she made next to the fruit she was selling, this crowd came closer and examined the clothes and started purchasing on that day she sold out all the tops she made as well as the fruit she took with her, making the daily takings triple the amount this continued for weeks until her mother slowly started to recover. One day while she was busy, her mother came downstairs to the basement hearing the machine, and she saw Jamie had made over two bags of clothes; what are you doing she said, why are you not in school? Mom, I know what you said, and I respect your decision, but how do you think we survived when you were sick? I used my initiative and went out to the market; I did what you were doing all these years; you went alone, said her mother, yes she said, and Jamie now stood up and went t upstairs to the kitchen, taking out four Jars of money, this is what we made. Her mother took the Jars in disbelief and saw the amount of money she made. She was surprised and asked Jamie how she could make this much cash. Jame then showed her the clothes, so you made all this on your own? Yes, said Jamie, this is more than I ever made on the market in a year's takings, Jamie, but you must go to school; she now handed the beautiful clothes she made over to her mother, sure Mom, I am just glad you are ok, her mom smiled at her, while your friends were enjoying their lives you were working here and making a living I am very proud of your honey she said,  Since that day, her mom knew Jamie was destined for success, time went by, and Jamie noticed her mother is a lot on the phone. They now had a stable income, and they were saving a lot of money. Until one day, her Mom came to her and said she met someone online in the name of Scott, and Scott will be flying them over to England. Jamie was quite surprised at first, but if that is what makes her mother happy, she will be glad to string along with her mother to England; besides that, Jamie knew she could study to be a fashion designer and build up her dream and the thought of going to a country that she never imagined was more than she ever imagines. So when are we leaving, Mom? The weekend honey, so what about our place? Your uncle Nathan will be looking after it while we away. For how long are we going, says Jamie? For as long as possible if things work out we will settle here, great said Jamie as she was excited to see England she went on google and searched all the cities and schools and there was so much to love about this place she thought how could anyone say no to such an opportunity, The weekend came, and this is the first time Jamie has ever been on a plane. She was slightly nervous until she saw kids her age also boarding the plane, the airplane took off, and they were high up in the sky; the view looking down was amazing. All she could see is clouds. Tiah was just as excited as her daughter to have this different experience; arriving at the airport, they stepped out of the plane as Jamie curiously looked around for the guy her mom has been chatting to all along, The airport was so much bigger than the one in Indonesia, and the first thing she noticed was the people's accent they spoke English but the English they spoke sounded different, across there was a bald white guy a bit chubby and about 5.9ft he was wearing glasses and he had a clean shave, wearing a leather jacket and a blue Jean he smiled and walked over to them, there was awkwardness between her mom and this guy as they both tried to hug but looked around nervously, Jamie was now fourteen years old and found her mothers taste in men odd, Jamie gave a fake smile as Scott introduced himself, It is good putting a picture to a voice he said, her Mom was way younger than this guy he looks like he was in his mid-fifties, So how have you been? He said, I am great, thank you. This is my daughter Jamie I was telling you about. He now looked at Jamie and smiled, your the one your Mom told me about who's a young entrepreneur; here is a lot of schools that could make use y]of your talent he said. Jamie felt good on the inside being acknowledged for her work; the people in her country looked so different from what these people look like, she thought to herself. Scott is, at least she thought to herself as they exit the airport the air was cold, it was like in minus, as she folded her arms, Diah was so absent-minded with what's happening around her she was in a deep conversation with Scott, right now Jamie wished she had never come with. Scott walked over to the car. It was a black BMW 325i nice car, thought Jamie this must have costed a fortune, they climbed in and took the road. Jamie was fascinated by the lifestyle. She could see kids in the streets skateboarding and had thick fur Jackets on everyone looking like Eskimo s. Is it always this cold, Mr. Scott? Did she ask? No, not always it is just now winter, but you will get used to the weather. Jamie looked in the mirror and glanced at him smiling, and we were almost there. Ladies, I am sure you must be freezing up. I just asked if it is always this cold. She thought to herself while driving there was a reindeer this is the first time she sees a reindeer up close it had brig eyes. It looked so vulnerable at the car. Scott blew the hooter impatiently, having that aggressive annoying outlook expression on his face. Jamie could somehow sense this guy is not who he pretends to be; he is trying to impress her mother. Finally, the reindeer moved as Jamie noticed his hand on her mother's lap. Love is blind, and I guess she said to herself. She looked very awkward at first and became more comfortable as they drove up the mountain after that. The was white snow all over, there was also a truck clearing the pathway, the drive felt like ages as they finally reached their destination, there was this road with houses on both sides and white wooden fences, the area was tranquil not a single person around, as Scott pulled into the driveway, the house was painted white, and you could look over into the neighbor's yard so short was the fences the grass was covered with snow, Jamie looked around at the other houses, and she could see people looking out the window at them, this is the life for people who is married and does not want to leave their houses she thought. They now carried their belonging to the house as Scott opened the door with this charming personality. This is a pretty place you have here, Mr. Scott said. Jamie, yes, and this is now our place, wait until your room, I have my own s=room, she said, pretending to be happy but deep down how she wished she stayed because everything there is so different their ways of life. She was quite curious about the schooling. She was hoping for a better educational system there because it was a horrible education system where she came from, and the classrooms were not ideal to even be learning. It was overcrowded, and the textbooks were so worn out that it felt like a piece of paper with no value. So what do you think said Scott in an excited tone; it is great she lied to him. He then showed her the room she will be staying in. It was an average room with white walls and a light blue curtain, a chest of drawers, no Television, a single bed with white and a wardrobe. Jamie started unpacking her clothes as she heard her mom giggling, laughter that she never heard in a long time. She was pleased to hear her mom laugh again. Jamie now walked over to the window as she saw by the opposite house is a boy staring out the window to her room, she closed the curtains and started unpacking all her clothes and hanging them up at least I have my own private space, she thought to herself as she changed to something more comfortable, her room was right beside the bathroom, she now laid n her bed on her stomach feet in the air, hey said Scott I am glad you settling in shout if you need anything, why does he enter the room without knocking she thought to her. After she was done with everything, she went downstairs, where her mom and Mr. Scott were sitting at the table; they were talking about things general in life. She could see her mother is happy, and that is all that mattered she kept telling herself, So what's for dinner said Jamie, I made some macaroni says Scott, You can cook says her mom yes, he smirks I can cook and do a lot more, her mother blushes, shall I go dish the food for us says Scott, I do not mind dishing up says Diah, Ok then go for it says Scott. Jamie now sits by the table as Scott starts a conversation about her clothing design and her ambition. She felt uncomfortable being around Scott; it felt like he was not looking at her but looking through her and undressing her with his eyes. Yes, say Jamie giving a direct answer, so do you want to be a fashion designer when you grow up? Not sure. The Mother now comes with the plates as they say a prayer and start eating. To new beginnings says, Scott, when they were done, Jamie carried the dishes to the sink while her mother went upstairs to take a hot bath. Scott then enters the kitchen and starts rinsing the plates, and there is this school close by, which will be the ideal school for you; they are highly recommended around here, their education levels are excellent,d and this is a great opportunity for you. Jamie now looks over at him, and through his thick glass, she can see he is trying. That will be great, Sir, Good says Scott, the one hand washes the other hand. Jamie heard of this expression before but did not know what it means. Yes, sir. Great, we have an understanding, he now leaves the kitchen, and her mind is stuck on what he just said about one hand washes the other hand. Was he hitting on her, or was it just a figure of speech? She is now done with the touches as she walks upstairs; Scott is sitting downstairs in the lounge stuffing his mouth watching football; there is something about this guy that is completely off. She now takes her top off while she is in her b*a changing clothes. Just then, Scott walks in, seeing her in the b*a from the back; as she looked up, she saw a reflection behind her. She quickly turns around, covering herself; Mr. Scott, are you not suppose to knock before entering the room? I knock in my own house? Yes, sir, what happened to the one hand washing the other hand? Excuse me; I do not think I understand what you meant by that statement. So it is now like that he says, Sir, would you mind if I change please in private? What is wrong with me standing here? Let's hear if my mother will be ok with you standing here while I am dressing, do not bother calling her; I am leaving; when you finish, clean the lounge. I left the TV on switch it off. Sir, I am tired, and it is late, so you indirectly telling me no, you would not check. I will do as you say, sir. Jamie is thinking of her mother's happiness. Days went by as Jamie got used to the weather and the surroundings. She took regular walks around the block and had her eye on this one particular house she kept looking at it was open no fencing, there were rumors the place is haunted and that the previous owners that leashed the property were murdered in that house, One evening, the lonesome Oak tree stood by the house swaying in the wind and as the windswept by the tree whispered to the air and its surroundings. The moon shone bright white in the cloudless sky. It was the only source of light that could be seen for miles. Owls occasionally fluttered by overhead, their silhouettes passing over the grass. The air was cold and numb, and with every breath, she drew a misty, chilly exhale followed. As the house drew nearer, everything around her became quieter and more distant, and the cold iron gates were far, far back in the distance. Owls couldn’t be heard anymore, and there were no leaves on the ground, just some aged concrete steps and a doorway that stood in front of me. The house was tall and thin from the outside, made from large dark grey stones that had a rough feel; all of this was sandwiched together by crumbling cement. Climber Plants grew up the house, winding around the drainpipes, grabbing the little sunlight that reached this desolate place. The windows rattled vigorously from the howling wind as though they were about to fall out of the frames, which were made from rotting wood being eaten away by woodworm. A few potted plants lay next to the door, once there for neat presentation now wilted and brown, almost certainly dead. The door had been left ajar perhaps for many years, or maybe someone was already in there. Jamie entered the hallway was dull and smelt of dust mixed with old age. Paintings hung up of black leather, once soft and comfy, now thin and worn away from all the use. Under the chairs and in front of the fireplace lay a red and dusty grey rug stained from the charcoal and shredded at the sides from mice living in the bottom of the sofa. As she entered the kitchen, she could see the moonlight shining through the windows, casting a reflection on the wall opposite. Mugs and plates lay on the surface cold and stained by tea. The sink and taps made from brass eroded and layered in the dirt, still leaking water into the sink, and every time a drop of water fell, an echo passed around the house as though symbols were being smashed together. She could feel the coldness from the musty orange and black tiled floor. Even though I was wearing shoes, it felt as though it had frozen over. Jamie moved on to the dining room – a big table made from oak and six chairs filled the room. The table had been laid, the plates and silverware lay there untouched and unused like a forgotten date. Above the table hung a beautiful chandelier twinkling in the moonlight. The walls plastered with cream wallpaper curling in at the corners, she found it strange that so many things were left behind in this place, her curiosity made her wonder about the real family who left this place and moved, as they really in a hurry or was they spooked, Jamie headed back home; as she arrived by the house, everything was quiet and dark, and she walked up the staircase and heard her mother moan. She tried to ignore the obvious by closing her ears. Jamie started in school, and being new to this part of the world, everyone sounded foreign their lifestyle was so different, everything was so much easier for them, hot water coming from the geyser and washing machine and tumble dryers, these kids were so fortunate and so ungrateful they complained about everything in life including the school bus that came to pick them up by there doorstep. This was a big change for Jamie and she never knew what it was to travel by bus because in her country they traveled with a tricycle, those tricycles was a three-wheel bicycle a carriage, so a bus was so new to her when she boarded the bus the first time she was not sure where to sit until a girl who was also shy looking had pale light skin with red hair and glasses offered her a seat right beside her, the other girls on the bus started whispering to each other looking at Jamie, Ignore them said this shy girl I am Tracy what is your name, My name is Jamie she introduced herself, is this music always so loud on public transport, Yes it is said that it is to cheer the mood of the kids but it gives me a headache said, Tracy, I am glad I am not the only one said Jamie laughing, for the first time since she arrived Jamie felt more at ease, the hard part was over, that would be the part  when it comes to break time in the canteen whos to sit with, Jamie and Tracy started hanging out and became very close friends in the time she they hunng out, Jamie also learned alot about Tracy, She came from a wealthy family her dad was a politician and a well known public figure who was a highly respected man amongst the community, he participated in alot of campaigns and charity events, Tracy,s mother was supportive and always stood like a powerful women behind a successful man, Tracy looked alot like mother, Jamie always loved how MRS. Rowlin dress she had the most beautiful clothes, clothes that you will not see in Indonesia.  MR and MRS. Rowlin regarded Jamie as a family member as she often visited and even slept over. Tracy had a twin brother who had this charming personality, and he looked like his dad, with Black hair and brown eyes. He was a head taller than his sister. Still, they were very close; he was in a boys school, so he only came home weekends, the first time Jamie met him s when she arranged a sleepover by the Rowlins house, and she saw Tracy,s dad climb out of the car, and there he was Tracy,s twin brother, Tracy told Jamie about her twin brother. Still, Jamie never took much note. When meeting Tracy,s brother, she was happy to make another friend with who she could get along, and she started looking forwards to weekends to seeing Tracy,s brother. Tracy knew that Jamie started having an interest in her brother when she started asking questions like what he does in his spare time and whether he has a girlfriend. One day when sitting outside on the swing, Tracy went inside to get Lemonade, and while pushing Jamie on the swing, he randomly asked have you met anyone on the school? No, she said, looking back at him, why are you asking? Just curious, he grinned at her, so do you, so do I what he said? Do you have someone? No, he laughed; my dad got me locked away in a boy's school. She smiled at him as they made eye contact. Her heart raced as they kissed, this is the first kiss Jamie ever experienced, and it made every made her heart race. He told her she is beautiful and she was speechless, this is the first time she was ever told she is beautiful, days went by, and they started talking more often, Tracy was happy her best friend and her brother hit it off but also sad because she felt like she was the third wheel. It was spring break when Jamie heard that Tracy,s brother is coming home for the spring. She was pleased and spent more time with him. One day, while sitting outside in the garden, Tracy and Jamie decided to walk the park. Tracy,s brother was playing video games. While walking to the park, this guy from her school was Nick, and most of the girls had a crush on him. He was this popular boy that all the girls wanted to date he was well off, his dad ran an importing and exporting of luxury cars, Nick had blue eyes Blonde hair and dimples, he is approaching us said Tracy nervously, breath relax he will probably pass us said Jamie walk with her chin up in the air, he then stopped in front of them, hey you are Jamie he said, yes I am she said with confidence trying not so show she is nervous, why do you ask. Well, I was hoping we could get together for drinks or something, so you needed to confirm my name for that? No, I did not want to get your name wrong. He said, actually, thank you for the kind offer, but I got plans later today. Ok, what about tomorrow? I do not know, Yes she would love to, what are you doing? Jamie laughs nervously, great it is a date. I will see you tomorrow before Jamie could say anything he takes off. What did you do? What did I do? Tracy grins, you just sent me on a date, and I am with your brother, well i is not a date, date it is more like going out for drinks and enjoying yourself, Ok if you put it that way, I guess there is no harm done, besides do you know how many girls would kill to be with him. Jamie now blushes as they go to the park. When arriving at the park, Jamie notices many guys sitting in the corner of the park drinking. I do not think this is a good idea says, Jamie. They drunk those guys, ignore them we mind our own business; Jamie feels something is not right here with this whole set up and the guys drinking looks very suspicious, two guys whose in their early twenties now walks up to Jamie and Tracy, do you have the time says the one guy, Jamie looks up and notices the scorpion tattoos on their neck, It is as if they in some g**g, he is wearing a black leather jacket open, no top under and a tattoo with dollar signs on his chest, the guy now leans closer and whispers I have a g*n follow me, Jamie and Tracy are frightened as they follow the guy who then leads them to a bush and forces them to undress then and r**e them. All four guys r**e them at gunpoint; after they finish r****g them, they take off and leave them lying there.
