I told her mother that she has not been coming for tutoring for a week. Her mum was shocked, looked at her annoyingly and asked why. She had no reason so right in front of me, her mum scolded her and asked her to say sorry. She was shocked, looked at me like she wanted to kill me and after some minutes, she apologized . The way she apologized was a bit harsh. I smiled in return. Her mum looked at me and said I should not mind her. She said she would be there tomorrow. I thanked the mum, left and breathed a breath of relief. I was almost at their gate when I heard her call my name. She said " Tunji, you can't handle me. I am more than what you can take" . Then she went in. I almost laughed and looked at her shamefully. I shook my head and left. " she is annoying" I said quietly.
After mocking her, i got to my house and sighed. Then something dawned on me. I began to think about what she said. She was a bit scary when she said it. Did she really mean it? Is she a witch? All these thoughts kept flowing in my mind. I dissolved them but after a while they came back again. After sometime, I forgot them.
The next day, she came around. She entered because the door was open. The way she entered showed she meant what she said. She said hello and sat down. I was about to start tutoring her when she told me to wait. I looked at her surprisingly. She insulted me calling me sorts of names. I looked at her and told her how childish she is. She was so angry she stood up to leave. I scolded her to sit. I told her I was tired of her problems and all. She wanted to respond but I didn't allow her. I talked a lot to her that she was shocked. I told her to leave before I do something I won't like. She stood up and at the door turned back and said I should be careful.. "Its a lie" I said. She smiled and left.
After insulting someone and the person you insulted smiles after been insulted had me really scared. Is she a witch? I asked my self. Well, if she is, I am protected. I went out the door after her and looked at her as she was heading for the gate. She is a damsel but a rude one. When she closed the gate, I stood at the door for a while and breathed in. This lady won't kill me, I said.
