Eru the good village girl

In a village named Sali there lived a happy couple named Adeola . Mr.and Mrs Adeola were both nice people the whole villagers loves them. But they have been married for 12 years without a child to show for it ,this kept them worried. They've consulted many herbalists all to no avail and this made some villagers start to bad-mouth them.Bisi ,Adeola Tolu's wife was more worried than her husband because aside what people say about she and her husband she needed a child to call her own . One afternoon, she left her house to their farm which was their only means of survival to get some stuffs they'd need in the house . On her way to the farm she saw some children playing and was wishing she had one too.she smiled at the kids as they greeted her . The couple kept on praying for God's intervention. They decided to drop worshipping the god's of their land and serve the God they believe is in heaven watching over them. They took their service to him seriously as they needed him to intervene in their lives .After a year Bisi took in and the couple were very happy, They sang and danced in their home . Some villagers started noticing Bisi's baby bump and were very happy as they shared the news to the rest . The villagers came to their house to congratulate them and they prayed for safe delivery for her.Nine months later their baby was given birth to , they made sure she never lacked anything even when they know they didn't have enough. Eru grew up to be a beautiful lady with good manners . Although her parents tend to give her whatever she wants but they never forgot to teach her morals . She was loved by everyone and was known for her food deeds . Eru was always honest and no matter the consequences of what saying the truth would cause she still said it in order for her not to be judged by her conscience afterwards. It got to the time where Eru was due for marriage many merchants came for her ,princes rich men from far and near after hearing about her beauty and character from people so she found it hard to choose . Bisi, Eru's mother called her to their sitting room one evening to talk to her . she told her not to rush and make sure that any decision she makes is what her heart wants and not anybody else's. Eru listened to her mum and heeded to it . She got married to a wealthy man from the neighbouring village who lived in the city but came back inorder to celebrate Christmas with his relatives at the village. Eru lived a happy life with her husband and they were blessed with twins as her first fruit. This brought joy to both families as they celebrated .
