I stared at the beer in front of me and resisted the urge to throw the bottle against the wall. I was pretty sure Hudson would kick me out if I did, and I didn’t want to leave yet.
A year ago, I never thought I’d be sitting in O’Kelley’s on a Thursday night with a group of friends. I never thought about a lot of things. Like falling in love with Zoey all over again. I knew I still loved her, but what I was feeling lately was new, not old. I had fallen for her again, and the pain was new, again.
