Hearing Sebastian say those words made my knees weak. He made everything in me weak. I missed the sound of his voice saying that. Telling me with three simple words that said everything was going to be okay, and if it wasn’t, he would be there with me to fix it.
“I love you,” I told him, hoping he felt half the comfort I did when I said those words to him.
He hugged me closer, so close that nothing could come between us. Then he started moving us toward his bed.
We walked together, stopping to make out like we did when we were younger. His tongue teased me, making me both crazy for him and desperate to have the night last forever. Every time we started panting and our actions hurried, we slowed down, the decision made without words or thoughts. We wanted the same thing. Time.
