21 The next week was a flurry of activity. Sebastian and I were able to steal time together in the evenings when the kids were sleeping, but it wasn’t enough. Especially since I hadn’t yet found a job in MacKellar Cove and knew my time was fading fast. I wanted to stay, but without a job, I couldn’t afford a security deposit and first month’s rent on a new place. At least in Pittsburgh, we had a home. It wasn’t perfect, but it existed.
