She has the name of the man who designed the architecture: a ghost entity called Dravec Holdings, which does not appear on any public registry, but which she has found referenced, buried three layers deep in a data archive, alongside her own father's signature. Her father has been dead for seven years. Sera sits very still. The city hums forty feet below her. The fluorescent light above her desk flickers once, twice, and steadies. She thinks about closing the file. She thinks about the particular mercy of not knowing, and how she forfeited it approximately forty minutes ago when she followed the thread past the point of plausible ignorance.
