Feeling unlucky

Gabriella pov Losing my bank card wasn't on today agenda nor was getting dressed and heading to the bank to withdraw some money, enough to last me till my new bank card comes in a few days however as I throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt I really cant be bother to even leave the house, I kind of want to spend the day chilling watching a series from beginning to end but I guess I cant do that without food. The walk to the bank doesn't take me as long as I do but when I enter the bank I notice how busy it already is and my hopes and dreams off being in and out are shattered and out the window, I cant believe I thought today was going to be easy. Looking around the bank I spot my exits and look for anything out of the ordinary like I always do as its just a habit to me I cant stop doing something I have been doing for years. Walking towards the line I at least count a hand full of people in front of me I knew I should have forgotten about this and waited for my bank card. As the line moves slowly I look up at the clock and when I do I hear the door lock shut followed by a g*n shot, my body jumps out my skin as I look around making sure no one hit but as I do I see roof piles fall down and I relax a little, remaining calm.  "Everyone get down on the floor now and keep your face pointed to the floor" as I listen to the men holding the g*n I do exactly what is asked from me however before I do that I count at least five men with guns walking around, the solider in me starts to kick in and I take note off everything like the wedding ring on one mans finger and a neck tattoo on another man. Placing my hands in front of me I make no sudden movement knowing they be in and out once they get what they want, the last thing we need is someone playing hero.  I don't know how long I have been laying on my stomach but I know they don't have long left till the police arrive, one of the clerks have pressed the panic button and theres no doubt about that either. You can hear the men talking quietly about hurrying up while two men keep watch, I don't know how unlucky I have got but somehow I find myself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Not hearing the foot steps of the men I take the risk and look up wondering if they have gone yet but as I look up I get a quick look around the building but as I do, I connect to the man's brown eyes and before either of us can say anything the bunt of the g*n hits me in the head and then its followed by his voice "I told you to keep your head down" the angry in his tone is loud and clear and I know it was a risk I was willing to take, who would I be if I didn't make sure everyone was ok, after not hearing anyone.   A minute later and everyone can hear the sirens which only just panic the men, there next action is moving us all and now we are all stood up and lined up in front of the windows making sure they are not shot though the window. I have seen this used a couple of times with criminals using everything they can to make sure they don't get shot but there is children in this building. While facing the window I can barely see the reflection though it and what they begin to pull out the bag they bought in with them, as I try to figure out what they are doing I hear the phone ring "I want a clear exit out of here and I wouldn't try anything as one of the hostages are wearing a bomb vest.... no one is injured" I don't hear what is said after that as I was too focused on the bomb vest though the reflection and a man they are wiring it up too. I don't know whats more ironic me being here or how unlucky I am.  Watching carefully as they wire the man up I take notes on how it can be deactivated or if its a dead man switch, I cant really see well though the reflection but I can't seem to take my eyes away from what is happening. However lucky us theres only one bomb vest but as the men throw their bags on the floor I know there are getting ready to leave, they already have an exit plan in action though. When the men disappear I take my eyes off the men wearing the bomb vest and look at my head wound as I can feel the blood roll down my face, I am going to have a massive headache in a couple of hours however I don't have no blurred vision or dizziness so thats good. Feeling good about my head wound I look back at the man in the vest and look around for the men holding the guns, the room have gone quite quiet and I wonder if there is a back door they used, I know I shouldn't take another risk after my last one but I move from the window and look around for the armed robbery. I don't see no money bags so I take the risk.... "Quickly run" I shout to everyone while running to the man in the middle of the room in the bomb vest, I look at him before moving my eyes to the vest trying to look at all the wires making sure I cut the correct one but first I need something to cut them with.  "Hands off the bomb now" I suddenly hear being shouted at me but I ignore the man shouting as I pay close attention to all the detail they put in this and at first I though the bomb was fake but now looking at it, I now know this is to make as much mess as it can. When I touch the vest once again I hear a click off the g*n and there just something in me that isn't bothered about being shot  "My ID is in my back pocket. I am an army solider, trained in bombs and g*n so if you don't lowered the weapon I'll do it for you" I say without looking away from the vest instead I feel him pull my ID out my pocket and click his safety back on his g*n, I know they don't want me touching anything but I have more training then anyone outside.  The bomb squad walk though the door shortly after and they already know I am trained before jumping down my neck, someone had to train them and I was in some of the classes they took, I took every opportunity to learn anything. Grabbing the scissors from one of the men I cut a wire and the breath I was holding I can finally release it knowing the bomb is no longer active and they can get print of it without a problem. Slowly lifting the vest of the man I place it in the box for the bomb squad to sort out while I walk outside and straight towards the ambulance stood by to look at my forehead, a paramedic rushes towards me and holds me straight as I nearly trip over own feet, I guess the shock of everything is now hitting me.  "You're going to need a head scan to make sure its nothing serious" I hear the paramedic say sitting me inside the ambulance while taking down my information and I knew in that moment I should have stayed at home, I have such bad luck sometimes and now I have no money and no food.  Food was all I wanted.
