Fully recovered by the following weekend, Mike gave the team a hundred percent effort at their home game. He felt he needed to atone for his absence the previous week. The intensity of his efforts resulted in a touchdown during the second quarter, a rare occurrence now that Matt had stepped up his performance. His roommate never failed to encourage him, though.
