The cat, the balls!

I unsheathed the weapon and the Marigoso bounced off after it got hit by the thing I am holding. 

[Weapon Acquired: Silver Fan]

[A basic fan made from the blacksmith's experiments. Produces light winds, can create violent attacks if used properly]

“A fan?” I exclaimed.

I heard the soldier laughing at what he saw. I was expecting it to be dagger, but it turned out to be a fan. I think this is okay since we don’t want to hurt the Marigoso. 

“I just picked it up somewhere.” I said, faking a laugh. 

“That’s fine, kid. We need to push them away from the town. They are too persistent.” The soldier said. 

“Do they have some sort of leader or the head of the pack?” 

The soldier was surprised by what I asked. “Yes, they have. But no one saw it personally. It hides its presence and works behind the scenes.” 

“Do you know what it looks like?” 

“What I heard is that it has two horns on its head, and silver eyes.” The soldier said. 

“Thank you so much, I need to go.” I said and dashed towards the direction of the cave. If my guess is right, the leader of the pack will be around somewhere. 

“Wait..” The soldier said. I just looked back and smiled at the soldier. 

While I was running, I checked again on the fan I was holding. How do I use this? A marigoso jumped towards me, but I used the fan as a shield. The creature bounced off and rolled over the ground. I now understand why the townsfolk cannot hurt them. They are cute!

I continued following the path towards the cave while figuring out how to use the fan. I raised the fan and waved it, but it was just an ordinary breeze. I can’t feel anything from it. The administrator did not even give me instructions on how I can use magic. Do I need to speak some incantation? Let me try something from the anime that I watched. 

Wind Power!

I waved the fan fiercely, but again it was just another breeze. Nothing was happening. I also tried to focus my energy on the fan, like from the show I watched. The ninja girl with a big fan. Well, it was a failure again. 

I can hear the people who saw me laughing at me because of what I was doing. I felt like a clown because I made a lot of movements, trying everything. Still, no use. 

“You need to activate your Fortuna first!” The adventurer said, creating a huge mass of walls, capturing the Marigoso. 

Fortuna? How do I do that? What is that? The word doesn't ring a bell. If I remember correctly from the beta test, once you login and play, you can manually choose a class or do it randomly. It’s the same with the status, you can adjust them at the beginning to match the occupation that you are choosing. 

Well, nevermind. I need to look for the leader of the Marigoso. As I moved closer to the cave, the number of the little creatures was getting lesser than usual. I believe most of them are in the front lines. Then I saw something familiar. My jaws almost dropped after seeing it. 

The old lady’s cat!

It was running towards the path of the cave. What the hell is that cat doing here? I am pretty sure that earlier, it just ran back inside the town. I hurried to where the cat was. It noticed me and ran inside the cave. 

What the… This is getting out of hand. I followed the cat inside the cave. As soon as I entered the cave, I felt an eerie atmosphere. It was not like when I woke up here for the first time.

I looked around, but there were no signs of the cat. There were no Marigoso’s around either. Then I heard the cat meow somewhere. I followed where the sound was coming from. The cat is getting on my nerves, because everytime I get close, it disappears. 

Then, I heard the cat again, and this time it was coming from the bigger path in front of me. I followed it’s tracks and to my surprise, I ended up inside a huge chamber inside the cave. It was filled with a lot of crystals, and it served as the illumination inside the cave. I saw the cat licking its balls on a platform that looked like a giant nest. 

There you are! I'm going to catch you this time, you annoying cat. I slowly approached the cat, but this time it did not bother to get away. It  just continued licking itself. When I was closer, I felt a chill run down my spine. Then, a deafening shriek was heard all over the place. I looked behind me and there were huge red eyes looking at me. 

It was a gigantic Marigoso. I noticed that it has two horns like the soldier told me earlier. The soldier did not even tell me that it is gigantic in size. I did not sign up for this. The giant Marigoso shrieked again, and I can feel my ears bleed because of that. Then I looked at the cat, it just kept on licking it’s damn balls! 

I hurried to the cat and picked it up. I looked around on how I can get away from this cave. I cannot fight this thing. I don’t know how to use my powers either. This is too much!

Despite its size, the Marigoso pounced at us, trying to squash us. I barely dodged the attack from the giant creature in front of us. The cat sensed the danger, so it did not struggle when I was holding it. Good thing this freaking cat is cooperating. 

What should I do now?
