I kept staring at the door, waiting for either Rhysan for the doctor to come back. What did that man tell him? He didn’t look like he wore din the hospital. But I’m sure if he wanted to know anything, Rhysand will find a way to do that. And this is literally his territory. They’ll bend over backwards to give him what he wants. Even before ehe asks for it.
I’m left stewing in uncertainty and so fun of anxiety, that when the door finally opens, I almost jump out of the bed. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw it was just the doctor. Except, the relief doesn’t last when I see the look in her eyes.
She walks to the bed. Only when she is close do I notice how her hands are shaking violently. Like so badly I was supposed she even got them to function properly.
That made my heart race.
