This is a teaser of a story I thought about writing in the future.
Blurb:
Skeletor is what he called himself now, the boy behind the mask he kept hidden away deep inside his heart. He would never let him emerge again. Never.
Never would he show weakness.
The young men who gathered before him used to be his friends, now he wasn't so sure anymore, he saw fear in their eyes when they looked at him. He loved that kind of power, that's what he lived for these days, but deep down he also despised himself for it.
---
For several years he'd been slowly taking over the city of Eternos. He, Skeletor was the mastermind, the evil and ruthless leader of the Snakes, inhabitants of Snakemountain the most dreaded place of all. Everyone feared him, until one day when a new obstacle came to town.
He called himself He-man and he swore to himself that he would do anything to destroy him.

~ The beginning~
"Have you heard?" she yelled as she stormed inside the darkness of their hideout, searching for the very person she needed to inform of this bloody annoying news she just got a hold of.
Fear of her leaders reaction squeezing her heart, he was always too impulsive and she really needed a good nights sleep for once.
"Of course I've f*****g heard you bloody i***t" he shouted back and threw his golden skullshaped mask across the room, watching it smack into the wall and making a metallic noise as it fell to the floor. "I'm f*****g Skeletor, the leader of this pathetic bunch of t***s" he continued "I know f*****g everything that happens in this hellhole of a city!" he screamed oozing with fury and overly confident whit his own person.
But no one held his words against him, no one inside that room dared to even look at him in that moment of rage, they even took a step back as they watched their leader throwing various items throughout the room, crashing all around them.
All but her.
Lyn knew it would pass, he always overreacted. And she usually waited it out, but the name calling, she hated it and she would not take another second of it.
As the others stepped back she took a step forward, raised one of her thin black eyebrows high, crossed her bare arms in front of her chest and stared him down.
"Call me i***t one more time..." she threatened, knowing her voice made a clear impact to his mood as she noticed how he cast her a glance and gave her a nod.
That's all she'd get in front of the others, she knew that. But later she'd make him pay, and he knew that too, suddenly longing for it but he pressed away the annoying feeling of his rising heartbeat as he looked at her again.
"So, tell me what we know" he muttered from his throne like seat.
Lyn looked around the room, her eyes stopping at the youngest of them. Ironically the thirteen year old boy was the smartest of them all, and maybe even the most trustworthy.
"Triclops?" she purred "it's time to shine."
The scrawny young boy looked at her through his spectres and gave her a slight nod, before stepping forward to press a few buttons on his tech-clad arm.
Only a split second later a bunch of bright blue screens appeared mid air, showing them all the images of this new threat they've encountered the last few days.
"No one knows where he came from, but my scanners tells me it's a human inside" the boy lectured, and had the full attention from everyone inside the room.
"So it's a high tech suit of armour?" T-jaw hissed between his clenched teeth, making the boy turn to his cyborg friend and nodded "he's not like us at all" throwing off any comparison to the three of them.
"Is that good or bad?" growled another voice from the darkness, no one saw him but they all knew Beastman was there, hiding in the shadows far away from Skeletors anger, their resent argument and the memories of Skeletors reprimands all to fresh for him to show his face.
"Good, I believe" the boy stated "tech like that can be hacked, I'm sure of it. I just need more equipment" he said and dropped his eyes to the floor, turning to Skeletor.
The leader raised an eyebrow "Give T-jaw a list" he said plainly before standing up, no anger left in his voice, his face filled with thoughtful wrinkles "what else?"
The youngest continued " if Beast could send out his dogs to scan the city, I'll need more data."
Skeletors eyes moved to the darkness where the young man was in hiding "follow orders this time, there won't be a third chance" he almost whispered and the tone of his voice made his skin crawl, leaving the threat hanging in the air.
"I won't make the same mistake twice, boss" he calmly stated but they all could hear the tremor in his voice.
"So, it's basically a cat-looking suit armed with rockets and lasers. It carries a sword and it can fly" Triclops explained, changing the subject as he started pointing at different scans hovering in the air in front of them, spreading a colourful glow through the otherwise gloomy headquarter.
"A f*****g nuisance is what it is" Skeletor hissed through his teeth, remembering how that kitty-cat looking hero wannabe, suddenly appeared, shredding all his hard work into rubbish.
"I've heard it's the mayor's new security system, and there's more to come" Lyn stated.
"I've heard it's a friend of Adam inside that thing" T-jaw filled in.
"Of course it's f*****g friends with that annoying piece of s**t!" Skeletor cried out "what else would it be?"
"Maybe it's both" Triclops answered as he moved images around "maybe it's just a prototype for something bigger, but at least we know this is the only one for the time being."
"And how the f**k do we know that?" the leader said as he moved towards the boy to examine the closeup of the suit in front of them.
"Because it has a name."
Skeletor almost smiled as he took another step forward, his face lighting up from the holographic images in front of him.
"What is it?" he asked with a hint curiosity, zooming in on his new worst enemy.
"He calls himself He-man."
