Small Talk Part 2

1419 Words

Chapter Nine Blake I didn’t realize our proximity, until there was a silence between us. I locked eyes with her. I noticed at that moment that I wasn’t repulsed by her smell, instead it started to remind me of the flowers. Like the daisy’s you find growing in a field. At what point did this change for me? I wasn’t sure. The only thing I could think of was how interesting she really was. She seemed like a wolf that had kick to her, and she sure was persistent. She wasn’t particularly scared of me, nor was she disgusted by me. Maybe whatever she believed she was feeling was true. Otherwise how could either one of us stand to be so close to each other? I wondered if she had the confidence to do anything. If she’d take my words about her proving things to me, to mean I wanted physical touch.
