Chapter Twenty Six Paloma He’s ushering me out of the room. I want to tell him I want to stay with Andy, but feeling the coolness of his hand on my shoulder is enough to keep me quiet. He closes the door and starts to lead me down the stairs, walking right next to me, hand still on my shoulder. “Where are we going?” I finally ask. We’re at the bottom of the stairs and he’s starting to turn left, to one of the huge archways. “Just to an area where we can talk. Usually the dining room is empty unless there’s a meeting, but I know there’s not one going on.” I follow him until we come to two large doorways.
