At first I was scared, and upset that he was here. But when I saw his wife something changed in me. I realized this was the perfect time to reject him. I just had to get him alone. Hazel didn’t want me to do it, but I had to. I was in a spare room that Jason let me use. I told him I had to adjust my dress and the bathrooms were full. He told me to take all the time I needed because he had to at least go talk to other girls to not make everything look biased against me.
