Yiila Nightingale, a 17-year-old girl who doesn't know who she truly is, her family, and her destiny. All she knows is that she's a shifter, a dragon shifter at that. Dragons are one of the most ancient and powerful creatures of the whole fantasy world. She was found by a Luna of a nice-sized clan when she was only a newborn. The Alpha and Luna, the leaders of the clan had a son named Zane, he was 2 years older than Yiila. They were engaged by the time they hit their pre-teens. The alpha leader thought that there was something special about the girl. He had a feeling that Yiila would help make the world a better place for both humans and magical creatures. Yiila and Zane thought that they were perfect for one another. They would spend as much time as they could together when they were children. A few years later Yiila will be turning 18, a time when most dragon shifters meet their soulmates and shift for the first time. The thing was she already shifted at the age of 5 alone by herself in a huge field. She kept this a secret from her leaders thinking that she'd get into trouble. Although she didn't find her soulmate back then she did feel a connection and left it at that. Yiila is supposed to be getting married a week before her birthday. That is until... Zane, her now fiancé had an affair. Angry with her finding out his actions he plots a plan and kills her. But, she comes back from the dead a week later, finding herself in some abandoned cave. After processing everything she's ready to give a certain someone a nice surprise. Will she calm down from these problems and forgive Zane only to go back to him a few weeks... maybe even months later? Or will step up and take a stand, following a path to find out who her true self is and fulfill her destiny?
