It took less than a full day for Caden to realize that the Dracan Dominion operated much differently than the Thophate. Aside from the assassination he’d performed the night previous, it was also evident in the way the Runesmen were organized. Since there were so many of them, they were divided into groups commanded by captains. The captains reported to Angus, who in turn reported to Lord D’Lance.
“Which company will I be assigned to?” Caden asked as he followed Angus through the castle.
