"Lia, just talk to me already. It's been like two days now," Jasmine said to Amelia, who was lying down on the couch, looking at nothing in particular, just staring at the invisible air.
"Girl, since I've come back from work because of you, you haven't said anything. I mean, you're making me somehow scared, and also you're making it seem like I've been wasting my time trying to ask you what was wrong for the past two days," she said again, and her last clause made Amelia talk.
