"Miss Mira," Amelia said in shock as she wondered what Mira was doing here with her boss and lover.
"Amelia," Mira said and hurriedly went to meet Lia at the doorstep. "How did you know that he's here?" she asked Amelia.
"Uhm, I went to his house, and he wasn't there, and I couldn't think of anywhere else," Amelia answered in between shock and surprise. "Sorry, Miss Mira," Amelia said.
"Call me Mira, it's fine," Mira replied to her.
"Okay then, did you perhaps know Mr. Smith personally?" Amelia asked the question she had been dying to ask since she entered the house.
The question she asked made Liam, who had been standing there without saying anything, shift his gaze from Amelia to Mira, who was obviously not looking at her.
