Then Natty remembered that she hadn't told Diamant what exactly had happened.
The Mother most definitely thought that her and her husband were involved in an argument. Would her advice be different if she discovered that the issue here was cheating? What would she say if she told her that her husband was caught cheating and she had even done the same thing while he was away but hadn't been caught? Natty decided she didn't want that. Those were not things to be discussed at all, they should be buried. It was good like this, that the Mother hadn't guessed right.
"I will talk to him, it might just be a misunderstanding." Natty smiled and Diamant hugged her once again.
