Genevieve's heart skipped a beat as a terrible suspicion crossed her mind, and her expression darkened instantly.
"What were they talking about?"
Seeing this unfamiliar, cold side of Genevieve made Ace hesitate. He replied cautiously, "They were talking about the regional branch. I heard Mr. Brooks say that setting it up was your decision and couldn't be changed—unless he could get you to change your mind."
