Chapter 1
Othniel walked into one of the luxurious hotels in London. It was an appropriate hotel to surprise his beloved wife. Othniel had also ordered some luxurious food and rented a room at this hotel for one night. A few waiters greeted him, and Othniel gave them a small smile. He looked at the rather large table with some food already served there.
"This hotel is so beautiful, I'm sure Sehena will love my surprise." Othniel was confident that his surprise would make his wife happy.
"I can't wait to see her surprised face. It must be so beautiful and adorable," Othniel said while chuckling softly.
It had been almost two hours since Othniel had waited, but his wife had not arrived, and many of the waiters were staring at Othniel.
"Would you like to order some more?" The question directed at him made Othniel jump.
"Would you like to order more?" the waiter asked Othniel, who had just woken up from his reverie.
"No," replied the man named Othniel firmly.
The waiter who reprimanded Othniel quickly left, leaving Othniel now contemplating his fate.
"Sehena, where are you going? I have prepared all of this, dear, for you," the man said softly.
A sumptuous meal was laid out before her, but now it seemed that all the sumptuous dishes did not arouse her appetite at all.
"Okay, I'll try one more time; maybe you're busy, dear." Othniel tried to encourage himself.
The man now tried to call his wife's number again, which had always rejected his calls.
But unfortunately, what Othniel did did not mean anything at all.
"Maybe you're busy; no problem. Next time I'll try harder to bring you to this luxurious hotel." Othniel desperately got up from his chair.
Othniel walked unenthusiastically towards the cashier to pay for all the food he had ordered, and after that, the man chose to go straight to the hotel room he had booked while hoping his wife would read his message and follow him to the hotel to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
"Ahhh, not here, baby," the spoiled words of a woman made Othniel lift his face.
"Sehena?" Othniel rubbed his eyes to see if the woman next to his room was his wife or not.
"Honey, let's just go in," the woman's spoiled words squeezed Othniel's chest.
How could Othniel not feel devastated when he saw his wife kissing hotly with another man in front of his eyes?
"Sehena!" Othniel walked straight up to them.
"I thought you were at work; I've been waiting for you for two hours. Today is our wedding anniversary, and I wanted to celebrate it together. But it turns out you're having an affair with another man? You betrayed me," Othniel growled.
"Shut up, asshole! What right does a poor man like you have over me? You're not fit to rule over me," Sehena taunted, looking at Othniel with disgust.
"But I'm your husband; you shouldn't betray me. You should understand my current condition; I'm also taking care of Mom." Sehena laughed. She actually felt disgusted because Othniel was always concerned with her sick mother rather than her.
"Just take care of your ailing mother. Stay out of my business." Sehena spoke angrily.
"Sehena! Watch your language. Let's just go home," Othniel said as she pulled Sehena's hand. Sehena, of course, immediately threw Othniel's hand away.
"Don't bother us; you'd better leave. Before you regret it," said the handsome man who had been silent. He didn't care if Sehena turned out to be married; what was clear was that he didn't want his time with Sehena to be disturbed.
"Damn it! I'm Sehena's husband. You should have gone," Othniel growled.
"Shut your mouth! How dare you yell at the future heir to this country? Do you want to die?" snapped Sehena.
"Finish it quickly, dear; I can't wait to spend the night with you. Don't keep wasting my precious time," ordered the man, which made Othniel even more angry.
"Asshole! I'll kill you. I'm not willing to have my wife spend the night with you." An emotional Othniel already wanted to beat the man up. But of course Sehena did not remain silent; she pushed Othniel's body.
"Keep your boundaries!" snapped Sehena as she slapped Othniel on the cheek.
"You slapped me, Sehena?" said an incredulous Othniel.
"I didn't just slap you; if you intend to hurt young Master James, you better leave now! Otherwise, I will divorce you." Othniel certainly had no intention of leaving and letting Sehena spend the night with another man.
"I'm not willing to let you spend the night with him," Othniel said.
"I don't need your approval," Sehena snapped.
"What a waste of time. Security guard! Throw him out for disturbing my peace," said James.
The two security guards immediately threw Othniel out; although Othniel had rebelled, they managed to get Othniel out of the hotel. Obviously no one took Othniel's side, especially since this hotel also belonged to James.
"Damn it! I didn't expect Sehena to betray me," said Othniel while walking to who knows where.
Othniel's cell phone rang. Then Othniel immediately picked up the call. Othniel dropped her cell phone because she received news from the hospital that her mother had just passed away.
"Mom!" Othniel shouted. Othniel felt very frustrated. Within a day, he felt a tremendous amount of heartache. The betrayal of his wife and the death of his mother.
