Rain's pov

I wake after our long nap and Adrian still has his arms wrapped possessively around me holding me back against his chest. I smile to myself and wonder why the moon goddess gifted me with such a perfect man. One who always makes me feel protected, among many other things? My mind wonders about how much more this man could make me feel. In and out of bed. I feel him stir a little as I feel myself get wet all over again. He takes in a deep breath as if he smells my arousal. 

"Yes Rain, I can."

"What?" 

"I smell your arousal; he says in a very low seductive voice."

"Wait, Adrian are you telling me you can hear my thoughts."

My voice sounding panicky. I can feel that he smiles a devilish grin and says,

"yes Rain; I can read your every thought if I concentrate hard enough,"

he whispers in my ear. I am now mortified. He knows how I feel. He knows what I am thinking. He must have been reading me again because he kisses gently on my lower neck and lightly runs his canines over the place I will one day soon be marked.

He smiles against my neck and says "it will be soon if we do not get out of this bed."

My eyes widen when I realize he is rock hard against my back.

"Um, Adrian? Yeah? Can I touch you there?"

His breath stops as if he is trying to control himself. He lets it out and finally saying.

"I will let you touch me anywhere you want but right now might not be the best time for that."

I was instantly hurt. All I could think was I did something wrong while we were as Amber calls it making out. I feel tears well up in my eyes and my heart breaks into a million little pieces. He moans and turns me over to face him.

"Rain, Stop crying. I want you to touch me honey, trust me, I need you to touch me. The thing is, if you do it right now I won’t be able to stop. I will make love to you. Lucy will be back with Nickolas any minute and I don’t think you want them to hear your screams."

My lips form an O. He smiles as he kisses my lips before getting out of bed. I sneak a peek to see him protruding out the top of his underwear. He is huge. I feel a small bit of fear well up in my stomach. Then it turns to excitement and maybe even lust. I know he would never hurt me. I think to myself when he answers me again.

"No, I wouldn’t."

I face palm myself I have got to remember when he is in the room to only think of I don’t know unicorns or something, anything other than his d**k. Damnit! Again, I am thinking of his d**k. I hear him laugh from the shower that he is now in. "Shut up!"I yell and start laughing too.

After we shower and are both dressed, we decide we are hungry. We make our way out of the much smaller room that we are in at the cabin and start down the stairs. He says "look around; I will get some sandwiches for us."

He bends to give my cheek a quick peck as he leaves.  The cabin is smaller, but it is beautiful. Wood carvings of wolves line the walls with a large fireplace made from rock in the living area. The dining room seats about 25 people but it is as cozy as the rest of the cabin. I look around and I see something familiar carved into the wood by one of the wolves. I walk over to it to inspect it further when I hear a voice come up behind me. I knew instantly who it was. f*****g Alissa.

She snarls "you will not get Adrian. I will not stand by and let my mate f**k around with you."

Feeling stronger now, more willing to protect myself and MY MATE. I say to her.

“What the hell did you just say to me Alissa”? Ok, I more growled it but that is beside the point, the b***h is pissing me off. Surely if Adrian thought she was his mate, he would be with her. I mean, I know I don’t know everything about the mate bond but I know I am becoming closer and closer to him. So no, she is not his f*****g mate.

She laughs when I show my anger but I see fear in her eyes. I step toward her.

“Stay away from Adrian, Alissa”.

"Why" she yells," I can f**k him again whenever I want! Just ask him why I am here. Because you can’t please him!" She scoffs, "You’re a virgin who will probably just cause a bloody f*****g mess that he will have to clean up."

My eyes widen, and a tear threatens to escape my eyes when I feel it. Something strange takes over, something I have never felt before. I see black spots form over my eyesight and then I am pushed out of the way. I feel my body move as if it does when Storm is out but she is here with me whimpering in confusion. I see Alissa’s eyes go from scared to terrified. Then a voice says to her.

“Get out before you lose your head”.

Alissa shakes her head begging me not to hurt her, saying, "I am sorry for everything. Please," she says. “GET THE f**k OUT”! The voice screams. The floor shakes as the voice screams at Alissa. I watch as she runs out the cabin door.

 I suddenly feel a hand on what should be my shoulder. "Rain?" I hear Adrian’s calm voice. We-I turn to look at Adrian, with all feelings of hurt, rage, sadness and most of all confusion.

“Why was she here?" Adrian looks at the floor then back to me.

"I invited her."  We-I move close to him so we are looking almost eye to eye with him and I suddenly wonder how that happened. When I hear the voice say

“if I ever see her again I will rip her head off her shoulders while you watch."

"It’s not what you think Rain. She is here because most of our pack is here. That’s why I invited her. Not because you don’t please me. Not because I want her."

“You sure used to want her" the voice says. "Rain" he says. “I am not Rain. I am Aria, Goddess of the lycans and I will not go back on my word If I see her here again anywhere near you or Rain I will and I mean I will rip her f*****g head off”.

He shakes his head in agreement letting her have her way for now. She finally calmed as Adrian said, "it’s very nice to finally meet you Aria." I could feel her blush. She likes him, I thought, and then Storm speaks up yeah "well she is part of you of course she likes him."

“Yeah well, she could have introduced herself before just taking over I say with a humph”.

"You weren’t ready Rain. She is strong, very strong. You were so fragile she didn’t think you would survive. When Drau healed you this last time, it made you yourself after a while. It healed all the damage that was done to you."

I understood that she was protecting me. I like her, I hear Storm say then I feel Aria giving over control to me I feel my human body take place which is confusing because I felt no pain at all changing into my Lycan. I will question it later because just as I change I realize I am naked standing in the hall way for anyone to walk and see Adrian quickly growls and carry’s me upstairs. He opens the door and says to me to go get dressed and meet him back down stairs in his office. He explained where that was then left me to dress. I am a bag of nerves now. Is he mad? I wish Amber was here. My confident, who talks to me about all the weird stuff.

Just as I thought it she busts through the door. Hugging me as I am trying to pull the t-shirt over my head I had just grabbed out of the closet. She finally releases me long enough to put my jeans on. She reaches out again.

"I was so worried about you. I am so sorry we didn’t protect you Luna. Woah."

“I am Rain to you Amber just Rain. Besides after what just happened I don’t know if Adrian still wants me as his mate”.

Amber raises her eyebrow in question. I tell her I can’t talk about it right this minute because he wants to see me in his office. Just like the alpha Thomas always wanted when I was in trouble. He would get me there then beat me till I could barely walk. The thought made Aria Growl! She said to me that will never happen again. Amber looked at me wide eyed because she heard the growl escape my lips as I can’t quiet control two wolves just yet. I assured her, thing’s are fine and I would explain when I get back from talking with Adrian
