If I’m worried about something, I should tell you why instead of just laying down the law. We can figure out together how to keep you and the baby healthy.”   I nodded. “I’d like that.”   “And if you ever feel like I’m being too controlling again, tell me,” Isaac added. “I might not even realize I’m doing it. I’ve never had these kinds of feelings before, and I’m still figuring out how to handle them.”   I studied his face, trying to reconcile this thoughtful, introspective Isaac with the carefree playboy I’d first met.
