He saw no reason to check her in the room but he didn’t want anyone’s suspicion. He had knocked, about ten times already. There was no response. Jeremy pushed the door and walked in, slowly. Lisa was on her bed. She wasn’t sleeping. She just sat on the bed, with her legs folded and held together by her arms. She had looked hurt when he walked in. She wore an upset look, immediately he walked in. She was probably mad at him. “Hey, Lisa?” “Jeremy?”, she got up, quickly, ran to him and hugged him tightly, for a few seconds. Then, she let go of him and threw a soft slap at his face. “Where did you go? I told you to trust us!” “I’m sorry about that. I just needed some time with myself alone”, He replied and smiled at her, wondering how every part of the deceit could seem so perfect as real.
