The house became boring and weird, immediately the rest of the family stepped out in Jeremy’s body. Prof Adkins was amazed that the plan actually worked. “Maybe if they step out of the body, the curse is broken, automatically”, he contemplated. He had laid down on his bed but was uncomfortable. He should have just followed them but he suspected something. He had a reason to stay behind.
The Professor got up from the bed, walked to the table and sat down. He sighed, as he pulled a bottle of yoghurt and a glass cup out of the air and served himself. He could hear distinct footsteps of someone, approaching. He had been ignoring the sound but it was less distinct, now. He didn’t have to turn around and look to know who it was. He had been expecting him to come around, anyway.
