Jae Hee's Pov
(That afternoon...)
"Get up! Let's go again!" Said Suho trying to get everybody up on their feet.
We were really exhausted, we had been training for 6 hours straight and we only had 30 minutes of rest.
"Everybody get up!" Shouted Suho. My legs were really heavy, I couldn't stand up properly.
Suho hyung is really scary when it comes to work.
"Hyung, can't we rest for another 10 minutes?" Said Sehun as he tried to compose himself from all the dancing.
"We can't. Every minute is precious, we don't want to waste anymore time. We'll be performing in a month. If we don't get Jae Hee ready in time, our performance will be ruined. No offense, Jae Hee." Suho looked at me as he said the last part.
"None taken." I replied.
"But hyung..." Sehun was about to say something back but I cut him off, "Sehun-ah.." I grabbed his hand, trying to hold him back from whatever he was about to say and smiled.
"It's fine, I can take it and besides, Suho hyung is right. I'd be ruining the performance if I don't practise as hard as I should. I want to proof to you guys that I am worthy of being an Exo member. Right now, I don't think I'm there yet." I said as I looked at them both.
They stayed quiet for a while before Sehun spoke up, "Fine. We'll help her get ready in time."
I was really happy that Sehun agreed to help, I knew it wasn't much but I was really touched.

A month had past and I finally got all the dance moves of each songs memorized in my head.
For the whole month we kept on practising and practising, there wasn't any time for a holiday or a free vacation.
I had to record my part for the song "Growl" and "Wolf" and learned the dance moves so I was really busy in that whole month. Being an idol was not easy---
As time went by, I grew closer to the EXO members and learned new things about them each day. I was happy to be apart of a new and big family. I even became closer to SNSD sunbaenims.
Even though the members were like a family to me now, I still felt uncomfortable staying in the same dorm as them. Hey, anything could happen right?
During our recording in the studio, Manager-nim suddenly walked into the room. We stopped what we were doing and paid attention to him.
"Okay guys, listen up..." He started.
We listened carefully to what he was about to say. My ears perked up in curiosity.
"This saturday on Music Bank, you will have your first comeback with Jae Hee."
My eyes grew larger----Okay, I was not expecting that at all.
"Make sure you get everything ready before then, understand?"
"Yes!" The members said in unison whereas I stayed quiet, thinking about me going up on stage and performing in front of dozens of fans. I felt nauseous all of a sudden.
I wasn't ready to perform on stage yet, even if I already memorized all of the dance moves of every song, a month wasn't enough for me to make sure I wouldn't mess up on stage.
What if I trip? What if I forgot the lyrics? Dang it, I think I'm going crazy!
"Jay-ah, you okay?" I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I looked up and realized it was Suho.
I didn't want to worry him so I forced out a smile and said, "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for asking."
Lies. I wasn't fine at all. I felt like throwing up.
"Hey, you're going to be fine. You practiced really hard for this." Said Kris.
"That's right, it's totally fine if you make a mistake. What really matters is that you tried your best." Lay smiled as he looked at me.
"And no matter what happens, we're here for you. Don't forget, okay?" Baekhyun's turned to speak.
Their words of encouragement really took all my nervousness away. I couldn't help myself from smiling.
They were always here to calm my heart---
"Thanks guys, I feel better already." And I really was. Everything that they had said to me left a huge mark in my heart and I don't think it will go away any time soon.
"Huhhhhh... someone is feeling emotional...hahaha!" Chen suddenly laughed like a crazy person.
His laugh got everybody to laugh along, including myself. I promise that no matter what, I will work hard to make them proud of me.

It was finally the day of our first comeback show together, my first time performing on stage.
God I hope I don't screw this up.
I was warming up my voice in front of the mirror when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to look at who it was and there he stood with a smile on his face, my handsome prince Park Chanyeol.
I had been hanging out a lot with Chanyeol lately, we became really close that some fans switched from Baekyeol to Jayeol couple. Lol. Apparently that's what fans call the oppas they shipped with.
"How are you holding up?" Chanyeol asked as he studied me, probably trying to see if I was nervous or not.
"I'm doing alright, for now." I giggled and you could hear my voice trembling.
"I know you're nervous but try to relax and just do what you did in practise. I'm sure you'll be fine, you're Lee Jaehee after all," he laughed and I couldn't help but to laugh along too.
I felt a little better after getting encouraged by him. I wasn't as nervous as I was before.
"Okay, thank you Park Chanyeol." I smiled as gratitude.
He patted my back before going to where Baekhyun was standing at.
I sighed and looked at my reflection in the mirror. Luhan stood beside me and fixed his hair through the mirror, I found myself staring at him which I didn't realize I was until he pulled away from the mirror and looked at me.
I turned away immediately and cleared my throat, trying to fix this crooked tie.
Unlike the other members, Luhan and I weren't close, we barely talked to each other and when we do, it was always one or two words.
Ignoring these thoughts, I continued arranging my necktie when someone grabbed it and arranged it for me.
"You're doing it wrong.."
I looked up, Luhan's face was really close to mine. I was shocked by his sudden gesture but even more embarrassed to be standing this close to him, my cheeks flushed pink and I couldn't control my expression so I had to look away.
"T-thank you," I was a little shy and I was frozen like a statue. I didn't know how to react to this.
"It doesn't matter if you make a mistake. Just remember, the important part is you having fun up there."
The way he looked at me was different compared to the times he did before and for the first time ever, he made my heart skipped a beat.
I smiled and nodded my head. I was really happy to know that Luhan was supporting me as well, it made me think that he thought of me as one of them too. I guess I was wrong about him all along.
"Okay everyone, get ready. You guys are up next." Said Manager-nim as he walked out of the room.
"Alright alright! Everybody gather around." As the leader of the group, Suho instructed to gather around and make a big circle.
We held out our hands in the middle of the circle and listened to Suho's speech.
"As everybody already know, this is Jae Hee's first performance on stage so we have to give it our all to make her shine, okay?" Everybody agreed. A smile escaped my lips.
"Let's all have fun out there..okay?!"
"Yes!!"
"On three. 1....2....3....EXOOOOOOOO..."
"FIGHTING!!!"
After SNSD sunbaenims performed, it was our turned to get up on stage, I felt nervous but mostly excited because I've never done anything like this before.
The only thing I'm hoping is that I won't messed up and ruined our whole performance. As SNSD sunbaenims got off from the stage, Yoona sunbae said to me with a smile, "Fighting!"
I smiled back and said thank you to her. She really is a nice person.
We took our places and waited for the song to come on. I could hear the fans screaming wildly, I couldn't help myself from smiling.
The song began and we started our intro.
"I need a one...love~" D.O hyung started his part, "Just...one love~"
Then came the part where we said, "E.X.O" and started dancing to the rhythm. I heard fans chanting my name along with the other members. Just from those simple support, I felt my confidence level rising.
Once our intro was over, we immediately got into position for our main songs, "Growl"and "Wolf".
Miraculously, I didn't mess up my dance moves or forgot the lyrics. It was incredible, I felt so much alive when I was on that stage with the members. Nothing could make me feel so amazing than this.

(Dressing room)
Our next performance was coming up. We were told that we'd be the ones to do the closing performance so we had to warm up for the next performance.
I changed out of my clothes and put on a black suit, Baekhyun did the same. For our closing performance, I'm going to be doing a duet with Baekhyun.
Baekhyun and I recorded this song for 5 hours straight so I had to do my best.
"Jae Hee and Baekhyun, you two are up next. Get ready." Said Suho.
"Yes!" Baekhyun and I said at the same time.
We walked out of the dressing room and waited backstage for K.Will sunbaenim's performance to be over.
Even though he didn't show it but I knew Baekhyun was as nervous as me. My palms began to sweat.
Baekhyun handed out a microphone to me and said, "Here." I took it from him and flashed a nervous smile, "Thanks."
"Nervous?" he asked me while fixing his earpiece.
"A little," I shook my hands and took a calm breath.
"Me too..haha," he laughed and I couldn't help but to laugh too.
When K.Will sunbaenim's performance ended, we bowed down to him as he got off the stage. Then it was turned for us to perform.
We walked up on stage and took our position, Baekhyun was standing and I was sitting on the chair next to him.
Once the music started, Baekhyun began singing his part;
