"Hmmm?Regret?Why would I?"
The man."..."
"God never regretted saving the humanity from sin even if he had to sacrifice his life let alone, I will?...HAHAHA!Why would I?"
The man."..."
Regret.
Yeah,why would she?
Her thoughts were cut-off when suddenly a tingling noise was heard from her ear.
Shock fluttered through Avila's body.She heard the man laughing perpetually with eyes close while his hands were clasping his abdomen.
She couldn't help but scold the man or else his wound would get worse!
She was still concern yet the man was laughing very hard,like he was being sarcastic.
The man didn't listen to Avila's scolding and added.
"HAHAHAHA!Little lady~...Do you know that I am a bad person who no longer serves God?"Shock filled within the girl's eyes as the man's eyes looked at her lifeless.
No longer serves God?
What does he mean by that?
Avila didn't wait for long for her questions to be answered as the man explained them clear to the girl's ear as the girl listen attentively.
"I,no longer serve God...because he already abandoned me,little lady~."He coldly said,that made Avila flinched.
Abandon?...God?
What?No.God doesn't abandon anyone unless...
"I,no longer believe in things that are related to God such as blessings and miracles... because they have never happened to me. "
Words such as that,it was cold but there was something more meaning to it that it made horrible memories come back from the past.His memories were blurred but all the feelings were unbearable.He can't help but clench his fists.Holding back all the strong emotions overflowing his mind.
He was almost having a break down but he didn't show it,especially in front of this girl.He endured it even if it was unbearable.
But...he was also angry and irritated.
How dare this girl remind him the things that was supposed to be forgotten!
The man smirked devilishly while looking to the other side,away from the girl.His face darkened and he instantly became silent that made the atmosphere around them,heavy.
Avila who was looking at him felt helpless.What on earth did this man go through?
She was curious but she can't just suddenly ask about how his life,especially him having personality issues,right?
Come on!It's hilarious!Is she an interviewer now?
And most of all,if she did ask him about all of her questions in her mind,it will become more awkward than this cringy thought she has in mind.
HAHAHA...How ridiculous could she be?
She sighed while making such a thought.She can't help but felt a little pity for this man.He wasn't abandon...nor maybe a bad person...he was just led by a bad path.But if she can turn things for him... it will be good,right?
"No."
Clear as the dark blue sky,the white and bright moon that shines the entire world reflected Avila's long smooth and beautiful white hair.Her hair was blown away by the gentle breeze as she stood up and went near the man.
Avila faced the man with eyes filled with earnest and passion.Her eyes were sparkling with determination.
Determination of what?
Determination to change something that she shouldn't have.
She has to change this man's fate.She has to...because she doesn't want to wait for this person to go to the wrong path.
And mostly... she can't experience something that she has to see once again.
It's weird though...why would she help a stranger who she suddenly met during a stroll that she also almost died in his hands?
She couldn't believe how ridiculous she is in this situation!
"..."She bent down her knees and directly looked at the man.
"You weren't abandoned by God."said Avila,who made the man flinch and turn his head to look at her.
"..."Their eyes met and he looked at her unblinkingly while making a thought.
Hmmmmm?...This little lady,right in front of his eyes, never seize to amaze him.
Not only did she made him amaze...she also made him shock of how bold and audacious this lady is!
But...if this little lady manage to not bored his time,he might not try to kill her...and that is...for now,atleast.
"...HAHAHA...then tell me...why am I not abandon by God,little lady~?...I'll let you become bold in front of me once more."He smirked.The man who was supposed to be filled with overflowing strong emotions suddenly dissappeared.Now he became a playful devil.
Curious as he is,he waited patiently for the interesting girl to continue.He searched her deep purple orbs and found no mischief there.What on earth will the girl say to him,now?
Avila looked at him confuse of what he had said.
Bold?Allow her to be bold once more?...What does he mean by that?
She brushed off the thought and continued."You weren't abandon by God...Unless you had abandoned God,first.And most of all,he did not abandoned you...he just set you free....And...what you just said that you haven't experience any miracles in life...then brushed that thought off...Aren't you still alive now despite of having so much injuries and almost in a blood loss state?"Avila who was not in a presence of mind pointed out her finger towards the man's face as she gently poke his nose and made a wide beautiful smile that made the man arched his back,shocked by the girl's behavior.
How bold is she anyway?
His body trembled a little and turn to look at the girl's purple eyes.Then when he saw the girl's smile,his heart suddenly skipped a beat that goes ba-thump,ba-thump.
He did not blush or rather he hid his flustered face.It's actually pretty amazing that he has this ability to control and conceal his emotions.
But he can't help but have a thought.
How dare this girl touch his nose!
Isn't she scared from him earlier?...Why would she act like this?Why is she getting bolder every second he allows him to?
Avila who was slowly backing his finger away from his nose that she had poked earlier, suddenly paused.She looked at her hand and unexpectedly,a hand was grasping hers tightly.
She can't help but have a thought.'When did that(his hand) get here?'
The man smirked and suddenly grabbed her hand onto his face.Not even for a few seconds to think straight,Avila was shock and became a hot red tomato as the man kissed her palm gently.
His kiss made a small noise like "chu".
Unlike the man who can make his face look like cold as ice while in a weak state,Avila was flushed.Her cheeks became instantly red.Red as the color of a ripe tomato.
She tried to pull her hand away but was stopped when a sudden tingling pain suddenly pierced through her palm.
It was like a needle piercing through her skin.
She instantly pulled out her hand away in a feeling of instinct and the sudden pain disperse.
That was odd.
She search her palm,looking for bite marks if that could be the cause but nothing was in there.
It's really strange...and suspicious.
She turned her head and looked at the man with eyes full of doubts as the man looked at her in a same expression he always has.
He looked at her coldly and lifeless.His mouth was close and obviously not smiling but when he noticed the little lady getting suspicious his mouth suddenly arched up in an upside down rainbow.He smiled wickedly while his eyes was close.
He spoke in a low-pitch and cold tone that could make every living person tremble around him until their knees can't support and eventually fell on the ground.
"You were the one who made the first move little lady~...I just did what I have to do."
Avila."..."
"What?....Not only did you came close to me but you also touched my nose.Do you have shame or are you really that bold?"
Ack!
Avila's world suddenly crack.She couldn't believe that she has forgotten something.
Did she really poke his nose earlier?!
It took her for 3 seconds to think straightly and suddenly realized,she really did poke his nose!
In an instant,her cheeks was red.She was flustered out of embarrassment.
She couldn't believe she did that!
It was her being careless and sparing into the space too much that made her situation like this!
"A-alright.We are even.But don't you think kissing my palm was even bolder than me poking your nose?"Avila pointed her finger out to the man.
It was true that the man was bolder than her action.
But what surprises Avila is...why is the man looking at her creepily!!
Why is he smirking like he did something that she doesn't know?
Was it the kiss he planted on her palm or something else?
"What's your name,little lady~"He asks while playfully twirling a small grand of his long gray hair.
"Don't try to change the subject,old man."
"..."The man stopped playing his hair and turn his attention to the little lady pouting.He was surprised of what she had just called him.
Old man?Old man!HAHAHAHA...Now look who is even bolder.
"Aha?...Old man,you say?"
"What?...You want me to call you Mr. Bolder?"Avila asked sarcastically while crossing her arms in front of her chest and closing one eye to feel like she was the boss of this "talk battle".
"Sure.Then I'll call you Lady Boldest."The man replied while smirking devilishly and arrows were piercing through Avila's heart in a critical hit.
His words hurt so much yet it is also very annoying!
His words angered Avila that her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
She shouldn't have helped this man...She shouldn't have save him today...She should have let him die!
At this moment,Avila who earlier did not regret saving this man was slowly having doubts.
Now is she starting to have regrets because of this misfortune...or is she starting to regret saving this man because she can't win of his childish plays?
