*Lisa POV* Sitting in my room, I stare out my window at the full moon. When a whisper began to cloud my mind. Starting off very low then suddenly loud enough for me to hear the command. "Come to me. Come to me Lisa." The voice was unfamiliar to me. It sounded as if it was coming from inside my house. I arose from my bed  going to the top of the stairs. I gasped, staring at a shoddy figure with purple glowing eyes. "A vampire?" I whispered shockingly. Only vampires had glowing eyes. "Come to me." The figure said extending a hand towards me. Just then, I levitated off the ground and slowly began to float down the stairs. I can float? Just then my alarm clock was going off loudly next to my head. I jumped up and cut the blaring noise off. It was just a dream. I calmed my breathing as I realized I was still in my room. I went through my normal routine to get ready for the day. But today was no ordinary day! It was my 18th Birthday! I exit the bathroom wearing a towel. I open my walk in closet and grab a purple and black plaid  mini dress, mini leather jacket, and black thigh high boots. I tossed my clothes on the bed. I pulled out a purple lace underwear set, replacing it with my towel. Never know if I met my mate today and I wanted to be prepared if I were to let anything happen between us. I quickly dressed then dried my hair. Grabbing my bag and my key, I raced down stairs to the kitchen. "Happy Birthday!" My mom surprised me in the kitchen as I entered. I wasnt use to her being home during this time and was elated to see her. She embraced me in a hug and handed me a coffee. We sat at the table while she enjoyed her breakfast. "Are you excited about today?" I nodded eagerly sipping my coffee. I thought about how I would find out Billy is my mate at school today. "I'm excited about the party tonight and my cabin trip this weekend. " This weekend I was going to the cabins with my three best friends to hang out."Well you will get your present from me when you get home before the party. I hope you like it." I sipped my coffee and replied,"How are you even home right now?" She laughed slightly before saying, "Alpha Chris gave me the next week. And it started today. He said incase you were to need help with anything during your shift and afterwards." I nodded. I stood up and put my coffee cup in the sink. I leaned down to give my mom a hug before leaving for school. I pull up to school to park in my usual spot and I was surprised to find Cecilia and Calvin standing there. They moved a side for me to park and stood at the back end of my car. I hopped out with my bag to greet them. "Happy Birthday." They both screamed loudly. I squealed and hugged them, thanking them as well. We all linked arms before heading inside. I took my seat in class ready to day dream about my mate. I realized I had alot of stares aimed at me. I guess I did look good today since every boy had been staring since I arrived. I happen to glance out the classroom door and my heart sank alittle. I was watching as Billy was leaving with Alpha Chris to go clothing shopping for a party tonight. I sighed. I had really thought Billy would be revealed as my mate today. The rest of the day would seem less exciting now. Then I thought to myself. I can ditch the rest of school. It was my birthday anyway. I met Cecilia ag my car and we left the school behind us. I took her to the new bakery in town I had previously visited. We walked in an our noses filled with the delicious scents from the different pastries. To my shock there was a woman standing behind the counter today. "Awww shoot. Is the owner here today?" I asked nicely. She nodded but informed me he was busy working on a customer's order for a birthday cake. I sighed and ordered a few items to go. I paid and we left with our delicious desserts. "I really wanted you to meet the baker. He is really cute and as you can taste...he is also gifted." I said dreamily biting into a vanilla bean creme filled cupcake with whipped butter cream icing. Cecilia smiled agreeing as she bit into a fudge triple chocolate cupcake. "Do you think he could be your mate since you think he is so cute?" I nudge her with my elbow and she cackles out playfully. Our next stop was to get our nails and feet done for my party. Pulling off the lot I had a thought that i wouldn't mind if he turned out to be my mate. After an eventful day it was time for me to get ready for my party. I showered for the second time today seeing that I've been having so much fun. Pretty sure I was not fresh as daisy anymore. I combed my hair before adding rollers so that my hair could dry in curls. I put on all my accessories before sliding into my dress with the help of my mom. I slid my heels on and proceeded to the limo that awaited me and my mom. We arrived at the pack house where I would be having my party. The music was blaring and there were many guests already here. I walked in and it instantly got quiet. I shifted nervously smiling. Horns were blown with an announcement of my arrival. I was escorted down the stairs by one of the guards. Everyone clapped and cheered. The music returned and the party continued. Walking through, I received many hugs from random pack members. I found my friend Cecilia dressed in a pink dress standing by the punch bowl. "Hey, is this party crazy or what?" I said loudly. "It sure is but hey it had to be for our party girl of the pack." We laughed. I really did enjoy a great party. During the party, everyone's attention was called to look up front. I moved to the front of the crowd to see what was going on. A giant purple iced cake was being brought out by two men dressed in white. Dave the baker came out and stood in front of the cake. "Hi, I'm Dave from Dave's Sweet Treats. I am the new baker in town. I was instructed to make a very purple and wonder treat for our Birthday Girl. Lisa will you come forward and do the honors of blowing out the candle?" I looked to the top of the cake and there was one girl shaped candle lit. I walked closer to the cake and a delicious smell hit me. I assumed it was the cake and proceeded to take Dave's hand up the stairs so I would be high enough to blow the candle out. The wonderful smell hit me harder just as I blew out the flame. I knew then that it definitely was not the cake unless he had made it with sugar cookies and vanilla ice cream. A soft voice in head whispered the word mate and my eyes widened.
