*Lisa POV*
I giggled as the puzzling look spread across his face. I'm not sure how I could hear his thoughts but I could. I think that is one secret I will keep for awhile. "I just felt you being indecisive through the bond." he smiled and pulled me closer to him. I could hear his heart beating. It was increasing in fact. My mouth started to water. I looked to the spot I would soon mark and my I began to drool. He stepped back slowly with a slightly concerned look on his face. I closed the space he created. I jumped on him, wrapping my legs around his waist. The grip I had was deathly. He struggled to move as I leaned closer to his neck. His pulse was insanely fast and loud. Singing in my ears like the sweetest song I ever heard. My drooling picked up heavily. I leaned my head back and his expression switched to horror. Just then, two long canine teeth protruded from my mouth. In a flash, I bit my mate on his marking spot. My teeth went deeper and deeper within his neck. He let out a loud scream just before it turned into a long pleasurable sigh. I retracted my canines and licked the wounds I created. Upon the realization of what I had done, I bared my neck to him. His canines pierced me and a wave of pleasure coursed through my body. He, too, licked the wounds he created. We now bared each other's mark.
I reached for his hand to escort him in the house. While walking towards the door, a flaming hot sensation reached our touching hands. Then without any warning, I was tugged down to the ground. I looked back to see my mate laying on the grass unconscious. I crawled over to him as a fiery darkness washed over me. We both had surrendered to a shadowy comatose state.
*Dave POV*
I watched as Alpha Chris left behind Lisa from the party. I wanted to follow her to make sure she was ok, but when I saw him leave I quickly followed. I watched as he followed her but kept a slight distance between them. I hung back alittle more to keep my distance from him. I didnt know how he would react to me tagging along. The last thing she needs to worry about is a fight between her mates. Once he made it to her backyard, I had to quickly take shelter in a nearby tree not to be seen. I watched my mate come outside to meet him. My heart sank because I wished it was me instead. Listening to their private conversation, I witnessed the two of them kissing. As heated as I was, I quickly let my anger go. He had not initiated the kiss. Cant be mad at my mate either since she has done nothing wrong. I glanced away, but quickly returned my gaze after hearing Alpha Chris scream. That's when I saw her, my mate, marking the Alpha. Tears streamed down my cheeks when he marked her as well. They turned to walk in the house but they fell to the ground. I felt liquid fire flowing through the small bond we shared. It wasnt enough to overpower me like it had done to them. I jumped down and rushed over to them. They were still alive but unconscious. Their bodies were burning up though. Before i could panic, i thought to mind link the Beta for help. 'Beta Billy send help at Lisa's house. It's the Lisa and the Alpha. Something is wrong.' I closed the link and began to lift Lisa off the ground. Moments later, the Beta showed up with two guards in a black SUV. They carried the Alpha and I had Lisa. We all piled into the vehicle and sped to the pack hospital. Entering the parking lot, we came to a stop in front of the double doors. Nurses came out and wheeled Lisa inside the hospital. I hoped out the car to help with the Alpha. A loud and powerful roar came from the vehicle. Then I saw the two guards soaring through the air. I turned back just to see a blazing Alpha and a charcoaled truck behind him. The Beta and I stood there in disbelief. This was something new that none of us ever witnessed before tonight. A wolf with fire abilities was just unheard of. Automatically, we stepped back due to natural and unknown instincts. The fire blazed around his skin and his eyes glowed orange. Just then, the fire dimmed and we had our regular Alpha back. At least he seemed regular. I retreated to the hospital to check on Lisa. I will leave this mess for the Beta.
Inside, I was directed to a room at the end of the hall. I entered the room since no doctors or nurses were in the room. I sat down in a chair next to her bedside. I grabbed her hand and immediately felt tingles spread throughout my hand. Her eyes fluttered open and my heart began to race. "Dont be sad. I'm not in any danger." The sweet voice belonged to her but her mouth didn't move once. "How are you talking?" I waited for a mouth less reply but she only smiled. She sat up on the bed staring at me. She came extremely close to me with all black eyes. He canines extended. I gulped. I wasnt afraid of her, but her canines were alot longer and sharper than a usual wolf. She leaned back and inserted them into my markings spot. I yelled loudly only for it to turn into a pleasurable sigh. She licked the wounds closed. Now I know what Alpha Chris felt. She leaned back and bared her neck. Her eyes were still black. I was hesitant at first because I knew it was her wolf. I leaned in after extending my canines and returned the marking. I licked the wounds cleaned. I noticed that she bared our mark on either side of her neck. She closed her eyes and laid back. She was back unconscious. I tried to wake her but it was no point. She was out like before. I held her hand and a ray of coldness surged through our bond. What was happening?
