Distant Love

"Good morning, Siya. If you are not going to wake up now then it's ok there is nothing special today just the first day of your job nothing special. The time is just 8.30am not late enough. " Priyanka said with sarcasm in her voice. "WHAT???? Why didn't you wake me up early?" Siya said and rush in to the bathroom to brush her teeth. "So, what am I doing huh? " Siya already had prepared a navy blue shirt and a black jeans yesterday night. She doesn't like to put makeup on so she doesn't apply it. She made a high ponytail and wore black sneakers. Priyanka was afraid that she would be late at her first day of work, so she got up early in the morning and prepared the breakfast for her. She was so caring about her. Priyanka said being irritated. "Hurry up! breakfast is ready. I will drop you today to the office. Be fast you fool! " Priyanka went downstairs to the kitchen. I finished my daily routine and came to eat breakfast. "Do your job nicely. This is your first time getting a job in such a big company. Don't do anything stupid otherwise I am not going to take care of you for rest of my life" Priyanka said as she is talking to her daughter. "Ok now let's go. " We came to parking lot where Priyanka drive in her Hyundai and we left to our office. Today, there was quite a traffic on the road. Soon after 20 minutes, we reached in front of a large building named RT. Roy Trade group one of the biggest company in the country. Everyone's dream. I am lucky to get this job. I am good designer and this is the first time RT group is opening a fashion brand for them and entering in this fashion industry. It's a very great opportunity for me to achieve something and become a designer. Priyanka said to Siya "All the best. " Soon I said bye to my friend Priyanka. We both were in same college but different branch she is good at accounting and she got the job just after graduation. I was refused six times in different company. She left for her job. I got out of my thoughts and entered in the building. The interior of the building was very dark but still beautiful. Everything was made of black marbles. At first,I got scared of the atmosphere. It was quiet and fearful. Everything was colored black. " Now I know what is the feeling of entering in the dark world. How can people work in this haunted place, "I told to myself. I asked the receptionist where is the fashion department. "7th floor.. "She answered. I asked her " Where I can find the elevator? " Receptionist answered " Just go straight and turn right. " Siya said thanks to her and went straight to elevator. There were many people working in their own department. Siya first went to the HR department and registered her presence in the office. Then she asked one of the staff that where is the designing department? " He answered " Next to this floor. " She said " Thanks " He replied with a smile " Don't mention it. Are you new here? " " Yes. " I answered. He replied " Hi. I am Rohit. I worked in finance department. You can ask me anything about office. " She replied politely " Hi. I am Siya. Sure. I will ask you If I found any difficulty. Thank you very much. " Then she left from their and went to the elevator. **** Siya was somehow frightened before coming to the office because it was her first time getting a job and she has to do a great job this time so she doesn't have to go home and get married. Before coming to this city N , her parents have told her that she has to do a good job there. Otherwise she has to married with a boy they would choose for her. Siya doesn't want to get married now. She recently completed her graduation in fashion designing. Although she didn't get any job right after the graduation. But she has to try continuously for it. This time when she heard about the requirements for designers in Roy group. She prepared herself. Although she wasn't good at speaking her thoughts out her mind. She was actually a good designer. So she went for her interview. This was her seventh time she was so scared that what would happen to her this time. She remembered that last time in college reunion all her friends were bragging about their jobs and work. By then she was unemployed. Although she was a brilliant students through out her college years. But just because of her bad communication skills she never got a job. Siya's parents always called her and asked her about her job situation and she always lied about it that she got a job in a very good company. Throughout this Priyanka was the only person who stands with her. She never doubted on her ability and never judged her for her unemployment. She is one and only best friend Siya had. Priyanka is the one who paid for her bills throughout this year but she never complained about it. She always tells her " Take your time to get the job. But don't just give up and got married to the one you don't even know. Understand. " She always encourages her and make her feel valuable. This time she prepared a best portfolio to get the job. She did many research and made a different design inspired by nature to the people who were taking her interview. They got that she is not a good communicator. But the thing they want was the design newly created. And not a chatter box. She did her best and came home directly. They told her that they will announce via message. So she came home and waited for their answer.
