Eric and his Beta Logan saw how she was protecting him. Both of them were in a trans, watching her fight so gracefully. When Eric saw what was about to happen, he cleared his throat. Jessie pulled away from him. They both looked at his father. “Father, I’m afraid you came too late.” Eric knew that he would have founded his son's dead body. She helped him up, “Young lady, who are you and ….” Logan walked closer, but Rex growled at him. “I mean no harm, Rex, just…” He pulled her closer to him. “We need to leave, it isn't safe for us to be out here.”
Just then Mark, Eric's Gemma, came with more warriors. “Alpha how's …. s**t what the…” He looked around at the bodies and the blood. Jessie wanted to break free from Lucas, but she couldn't.
