Lucas looked at his mate, smiling. “Where did you learn to fight like that?” She shrugs. “I trained with the best.” Logan looked at her with an annoyed face. “What's your name, girl? ” She looked at Logan, and she could feel his hostility towards her. 'What an ass.' She decided not to answer when she heard. Lucas spoke out.“Her name is Jessie,” She looked at him and raised an eyebrow suspiciously, “How do you know my name?” He simply grinned, “will tell you when we get home.” She pouted and poked his chest, “I am not good at waiting.” Lucas laughed and looked at her lips. Remembering the hot kiss they just shared a few minutes ago. 'I want to taste the lush sweetness of her mouth….' 'Rex calms down before we jump her and everyone will see our mate.' He growls, 'Never will they see her.' she senses him tighten his hold around her. She didn’t mind because, for some reason, she felt that she belonged there next to him.

On their way to the pack house, Eric told his wife that they were alright. He could hear her breath a sigh of relief.

The cars stop in front of the pack house. Jessie glanced at the massive place, “Wow, how many people stay here.” They didn't answer her. Lucas assisted her out of the car and held her close. He lowered his face and kissed her. She was a bit skittish because everyone was watching. Emma and his mother saw what was happening. “What the… hell, I need to put a stop to it. " As she walked towards them, she was clenching her fists. “Oh my baby, you're safe.” shoving Jessie aside, 'What the hell…' Jessie's face contorted with shock and anger. If she wasn't trained, she would be laying on the ground. “Oh, Rachel was worried sick about you, she's waiting for you inside.” Jessie watched them hugging Lucas. “Come with me young lady.” she looked at Eric, “Mr. I need to go home, my mother is probably looking for me.” while speaking she sensed Mickie. She sighed with relief. Because she was able to hear Eric mind-linking, Logan suggested she should be taken to the dungeons to be questioned.

Before they could react, she swung around and dashed toward the familiar scent. Eric's mind links the others about a rogue that was spotted on the pack lands. Lucas told his mother to go into the house. When he realized that Jessie wasn't around, he started to panic.
