She stopped in front of Dean, rubbing his big head. “You shouldn't be here, Dean.” He looked up and notched her with his snout. “Hey, you want me to get on your back” He shook his head, rubbed his head, and jumped on his back. She held on tight as Dean took off like lighting. The pack warriors couldn't keep up with them. She heard Lucas calling her, and then a roar erupted. Her heart felt like it's been ripped apart the further she moved away from her mate. 'What's this … why am I feeling…' she turned her head, looking in the direction where the howling was coming from.
When they reached his house, she got off and went to open the door while he shifts back and got dressed. “Come honey let's get you clean, and let me look at your wounds.” she looked at herself frowning, “Man this is grouse.” she went to take a shower. While Mickie got her clean clothes and made food. He already told her mother that he'll bring her home before eleven.
Lucas's scent was all over her and Dean wasn't too happy about it. 'How dare they scent my pup?' he was pissed. 'Calm down and let's hear from her.'
She sat next to him so that he can take care of her wounds. “Baby girl, what happened?” he waited for her to answer. “I just had this feeling that I needed to look for you.” She hugged him. “Thank you for coming... I don't know what happened, I was overwhelmed by this feeling that was guiding me towards him.” Mickie stares at her baffled. “What kind of….” She shrugged her shoulders, “I can't… I don't know how to explain it. " She got up and started to pace the room, her hands in tight fists.
“Angel, what's wrong, talk to me.” she was bearing her teeth at him. “Have to go….” she was speaking through gritted teeth. Mickie grabbed her by the wrist, stopping her, 'What the hell …' She was struggling to get free because she needed to go to Lucas. He had to knock her out because she was getting violent. 'Honey, what the hell is happening to you? I need to keep you safe. He touched her face and kissed her forehead after laying her down on the bed." Rest, my sweet angel."
