Meanwhile, at the Black Mirror Pack, Eric was listening to Logan's report. “Well, Alpha, all the supernatural creatures are in town. How those bloodsuckers mask their scent is beyond me. Once again, the human girl knew what they were.” Logan leans back in his chair. “What the f**k? How the hell is it possible that a pathetic human could detect those bloodsuckers, and you couldn't.” clenching his jaw, Eric stares at him. “We need to find that human as soon as we get the chance. ” Logan scratched his head, “Well, there's more, those bloodsuckers are giving a lot of attention to her.” Eric narrowed his eyes. “In what way?” Logan shrugs, "I doubt it's anything important, It might be because they can't use their compulsions or alluring tricks on her.” Eric scrunched up his eyebrows thoughtfully. Thinking back to that night when he saw how possessive Lucas was over her.

Eric rubbed his forehead. “ s**t, it can't be, why didn't I figure this out sooner.” Logan looked at his Alpha with a concerned look. “That human girl is his mate, not Emma's girl.” Eric froze momentarily and became speechless.

“A… Alpha I… I don't understand, Luna introduced her as…” Logan replies in a disbelieving voice. 'It took you this long to figure out.' His wolf Rico snorted, 'You're getting rusty, Eric.' Shut up.' 'You're right, she is our pup's mate, and that's the reason Rex had blocked Lucas. He needs his mate, being separated from her had weakened him.' 'Hmm, this is a mess, and Lucas had already marked that girl.' his muscles quivered. 'They ruined us. The goddess had chosen us to be the superior wolf pack now it's all gone. Others will surpass us, and they will challenge us and take over our pack. We don't even stand a chance without Rex.' Eric raised his voice, 'Why didn't you tell me this ahead of time.' he scoffed, 'You're to be blamed for letting our Luna manipulate you? She sentenced all of us to death Eric was pissed, 'She wouldn't…' 'Well she did Eric and I warned you before about it. Who's the fool now.' he rolled his eyes and blocked Eric.

He growled, and his nostrils flared, making Logan whimper, even the temperature in the room changed. “Eric, what's wrong, talk to me.” Eric looked at him "I can't believe Tracy did this to me and our pack. She ruined us.” slamming his hand on the desk, making Logan jump up, taking a few steps back. The Alpha looks like he's about to shift “Alpha…” relief washed over him when he heard the knock on the door. “What!” Eric shouted, annoyed that he was interrupted. Mark's trembling voice comes from the other side.

“A… Alpha, a council guard is here to see you.” Logan opened the door while Eric sat back down on his chair, trying to calm himself.

“Alpha Eric, the council wants your presence at the meeting tomorrow at 13h00.” the man had a blank expression on his face. “What is the meeting all about and on such short notice.” The guard didn't answer him, “Make sure that you're on time, Alpha. I shall take my leave now.” The guard left.

“I am sure it's about the supernatural creatures that are all here.” He looked at Logan, “I reckoned.” he picked up the file and went through it.

Mark glanced at Logan "Speak I don't have all day.” he bared his neck.” the Luna is waiting…" Eric cut him off with a wave of his hand." go, I still need to finish some work. Logan knew he would rather not see Tracey and his son.

Tracey looked at them. “Where's the alpha?” Mark looked at her, “Alpha had work to do before the meeting tomorrow.” She looked at Logan, who didn't look at her. 'I wonder what's wrong, I should…' “I'll go and call him, he needs to be with his family…” Logan interrupted her. “Luna Alpha asked that he should not be disturbed.”
