Hanos was there looking at Cyrano and the others. “The girl that the Luna was… She's nothing, but a power hurry b***h. There's no power there, she's worthless. She's not even the mate of the alpha's son.” He scoffs, “I hate women like her. I don't understand why Luna Tracey is backing that woman.” Hanos laughed, "Rachel chose that path, no one forced her.”

“Master the power …” He sits back, rubbing his chin. “These idiots have nothing that can help me. They could only feel the powerful aura that brought them to their knees. The power had reached throughout the region.” They looked at Hanos “Master where… " He sighed and got up, “the stupid fool isn't aware of the power they have inside them.” Cyrano nods his head, so we have to wait for him or her to come ….” “Master, maybe that girl could be the fool that's…”

He looked outside, “perhaps we just need to watch her closely.”

Emma was looking at her daughter, feeling like she was above everyone. “Rachel, what about Lucas, please consider he'll…” Emma cut her off. “Tracey, you expect her to be a Luna when she can be the queen. I apologize for Lucas, I do, but Rachel has a much higher calling. She will take it, so don't try to change her mind. Lucas can get himself a chosen mate.”

Tracey couldn't believe Emma was doing this to her after what they had gone through. “Rachel…” Emma snapped at Tracey, “What the hell is wrong with you. I can't believe you're jealous.” she laughed out loud, “You're so petty, why didn't I notice that black heart of yours.”

Tracey's heart was broken into a million pieces. “Mother, that's enough!” Cindy walked over to Tracey.

“Rachel, let's go, Master Cyrano won't wait all day for us.”

Lucas looked at them. The pack members were talking about how lucky she was, and others were feeling bad for Lucas.

He was sitting in his father's office. “Wow, perfect timing? Care for some wine to celebrate.” Logan and Eric had big smiles, but they weren't as wide as Lucas's. He laid back in his chair, thinking about Jessie. “Lucas, the goddess is smiling at you. You're lucky..... don't screw this up.” “How can I when I have a pup on the way.” They both stopped what they were doing and looked at him. “Why the surprised look, she is my mate. When I marked her, she went into heat.” Logan scratched his head, “She's….” Lucas smirked and got up, “you wouldn't understand, my girl is special.”

He left the office and was on his way out. Jason, Cindy, and Tracey sat there in the lounge. When he walked past, his mother got up and grabbed his arm. “Lucas, I'm so sorry I tried, but don't worry I'll get a suitable mate.” He pulled his arm away, “Don't do me any favors, mother. You made me the joke of this pack and….” He gave her a look of disappointment and disgust. “I have already spoken to ….” Rex took over and grabbed her by the neck, “Why don't you listen…” She was trying to loosen his grip because she had trouble breathing. “This is the last time I am going to warn you to stay out of my business.” He pushed her, and she fell into Jason's arms.
