Carly didn’t feel right. The man in the suit had hurt her. She knew this because the blood on her robe told her so, but she didn’t really feel the pain. She made no attempt no try to stop the bleeding or to clean herself up. No, she didn’t feel pain, yet she didn’t feel right. The Cameron apartment complex was three buildings. The one she just vacated was in the middle. She went out the front door, walked to the end of the building then turned and followed the narrow path of grass until she was about halfway to the rear parking lot.
