My Treasure Vita

Let me tell you of two people who shaped my life, but where to start , oh the beginning . Let me take you to the Marcel manor , they are the second most powerful family in the state but only to the first family so.. a vibrant time of day , the sun is up the trees are green the grass is leveled . But as big as this house hold is it's really limited on stuff .It only had two gate keeper Amos and Musa , one compound cleaner, Maria , don't know why she was paid the compound was never that dirty. Four house helpers and I will rank them by age of the oldest to youngest miss Berna a lovely lady the head maid , miss Clear for the kitchen, sister Lilly ,laundry, who never accepted that she was aging so she never told me her real age she was always 26 year and of course Madam Nakato Vita she was about 23 years here so i will tell you why I attach o to her. The residents were Lady Marcel Glory and six of her children three grown up and working and three still in school. By order of birth , without the last names of course we all know it by now ,Kwame ,Hasani,Malika,Amare Amara and Ayana. Mr Marcel Kofi had passed on leaving Kwame the heir by 23 and the family had never seen such prosperity , but Kwame went abroad to complete his doctorate and had not been home for over four years , Hasani wanted nothing of that world so he had his own ventures here and there Malika was married off to Henry Edoni with two kids . Her and her husband helped with some family businesses . Amare and Amara were twins , Amare the boy , Amara the girl who had joined campus with Ayana finalizing her high school. Now even this young ones helped out with running the family during semester breaks to prepare them for the big share . Well my focus is on Vita , she found favour in Marcel Glory's sees and was offered a scholarship at Nasser University and she was to go from there manor . She offered to be there maid so as to truly earn the achieved luck . 'Vita ', called Berna ' go up Glory wants her foot rub , she wishes to rest now' ' but miss Berna , she has not yet taken dinner yet and she is on medication. ' ' silly girl i know that , that why am sending you up to convince her to take her food .For the last two year you have been more than a daughter to her so do your part .' Vita giggles leaving to go to go meet Glory up stares thinking how wise Berna was .The third floor where most bedrooms are was rather quite with all the kids at school , she walks up to Glory's room giving a faint knock ' lady Glory may i come in ' with no response, Vita knocks harder and giving the door a push taking a peek in.She finds the lady laying on her bed , crying silently. Vita quickly locks the door rushing over to the lady of the manor .'Lady what is it that makes you weep ?' she comes over to her with respect for a boss finding her in such a sorrow full state. Lady Glory raise up seating on her bed , Vita panics to get a glass of water but Glory declines ' Lady am sorry i knocked but you .. and i wanted to see that you eat dinner..but ...I ' ' Child be quite ' Glory says softly with a heavy heart ' Am fine ..it's just that ' she sobs ' this house has suddenly become too big and am too small and ....' she breaks down crying with her hands across her chest hold a picture of her family.Vita understanding she comforts Glory as they both whisper there next words .' Lady Glory , I don't know how deep the void in your heart is but tears and sorrow will dig it deeper , so ..' ' i miss my babies so much and Kwame and Hasani left as if this isn't home and...' she gives big sods Vita pulling her to her chest to further comforting her ' Oh dear lady many people admire you yet you blubber behind closed doors ' she pulls away from Vita looking up at her in shock as if was mocked , raising from her bed to the window looking at the evening ' Vita you stand there calling me ungrateful..' ' YES , Lady Glory' , she pulls her to the mirror and leading ger to seat they both face the mirror ' my lady ought not weep over your kids for they are alive, successful and they really love you , you should start distracting yourself from this and now force them to start giving you grand kids , the grown ones of course.' Glory laughs at this looking up at this kind soul ' Oh my child your a real treasure' she laughs while wiping away her tears ' oh my Lady don't flutter me , you of all people know my story so we need to care for each other and never let these conditions chain us ' ' Ok .. dear you're right , but of all my kids i miss Kwame my dearest boy do you know he is really handsome and kind, hard working , very tall just like his father so i miss those two men ' ' he is just in Egypt come on lady and he may even bring you a daughter-in-law ' Lady Glory laughed so loud shocking Vita with many thoughts running through her. Suddenly the room was lite up by the golden ray of the sun set with a bit of drizzle leaving Lady Glory speechless at this site how these two collided Vita's speech and a drizzle. Then turning to looking at Vita taken by the sunset looking so petite yet vibrant presence with her eyes glowing to the radiancy .'Ok child lets go down to dinner and i am i need of a foot rub ' Lady Glory puts the picture back on her bed side following Vita as they talked through the hall way down stares as a mother and daughter would do .Berna looks up at this beautiful scenery giving a large kind smile . This manor was large indeed , with few residents having big stories with great voids yet to be filled but how ,when ,and what would be the price to pay .
