I bust out laughing. “Maybe for you but you didn’t just act like a complete fool in front of a hunk on your first day.” I sigh reliving the embarrassing moment.
Oh girl you must be talking about Miles. He is a hunk ain’t he? Literally every girl wants him because he is gonna be the next alpha. But he has yet to meet his mate. Most of the girls around here are at mating age. I turned 18 3 months ago and I come from a beta bloodline. But nope I wasn’t his mate. Or did I find my mate.” She shrugs her shoulders and sighs. “Hopefully I’ll find my mate soon. A girl can only hope.”
Miles I like that name. I smile but it falls and I blush when I noticed Stella looking at me smirking. “Jo you have the hots for Miles. Just so you know Miles isn’t the easiest person to know.” She warns me in a friendly but stern way.
“Well I turn 18 next month so who knows what will happen. But he probably will not want to be with a half breed. I mean my dad is apparently a rogue and my mom is a human. But looks aren’t all that too me so that’s not gonna be enough for me to fall for him.” I shrug.
“Girl you are unmated and new. You are definitely gonna rile up some feathers around here. Everyone is gonna think you are trying to get close to him or anyone of high status so you can see if you are their mate. Girls are so judgemental.” She says while rolling her eyes.
“Classes should be starting later. Do you want to borrow a dress of mine? You have the perfect figure. I can tell. It’s your first day you want to dress nice.” She sniffs. “You might have to take a shower though. Not trying to be rude but you smell like sweat and maybe some makeup you look like a zombie.”
My face falls horrified. “Do I really smell that bad?” I sniff myself. Luna laughs. “Girl you smell like you ran a marathon before coming here.” Stella smiles. “Well you smell like you worked out or something before coming here. I mean we work out a lot but we shower afterwards. Did you forget to take a shower before you left your home?”
I stutter. “Iiiiiii was running late this morning and couldn’t take a proper shower or put makeup on before me and my mom left.”
Stella just laughs and puts her arm around my shoulders. “Hey Jo it’s your first day of Wereschool how about you go shower and I can help you get dressed and do your makeup. How does that sound?” “Well I don’t wear a whole lot of makeup. Usually just some mascara and lipgloss.” Stella jumps up and down. “Yay I can help you definitely rile up some feathers. Go shower and I will have the perfect outfit picked out for you!”
I giggle “Okay but please not a lot of makeup. I don’t think I can handle that for my first day.” “Fine, just go shower you stink.” She pushes me to the shower.
I go to the shower and turn it to the hottest setting it can go. I really need to relax my muscles already. It’s my first day here and classes haven’t started yet. I wait till it starts to steam and step into the hot water letting it roll off my muscles relaxing them. Ahhhhh this is nice. I really like having my own shower. Well not one that everyone can use in the public school after gym class.
I start massaging shampoo in my hair. I wonder if this is the right choice going to wereschool. “Jo you don’t have to worry so much you are just gonna be fine. Now quit thinking so much and just relax” Luna says. “Luna you are right I need to quit thinking about the bad stuff and think about the future.” I rinse the shampoo out when I hear Stella call out. “Don’t forget to shave your legs! Your gonna be showing some leg. Now hurry up so I can do your makeup!”
Laughing to myself. “Okay Stella as long as it isn’t too much leg showing.” I heard her huff and walk away. I think me and Stella and gonna be best friends! I quickly condition my hair and shave my legs. I start washing my body when I suddenly see fangs flashing in my memory. I fall backwards but catch myself. I hear Stella running to the door and fling it open. “Jo are you okay?” “Yes Stella I’m fine i just slipped is all” “Okay be careful in there.” She shuts the door and i let a sigh.
Why do I keep getting the images of my dreams. I wish I knew what they mean. I shake my head and turn the water off. I step out and grab a fluffy towel to wrap around myself. I start drying off and peep my head out the door to make sure Stella isn’t sitting out there waiting on me.
I sigh in relief when I don’t see her. I wake out with the towel on my head and quickly put on a bra and panties. I wrap a robe around myself and sit on my bed waiting on Stella. She comes bouncing out her closet with a emerald green romper.
“Stella how short is that romper?” I gasp. Stella chuckles. “Jo it’s not that short it just looks like it on the hanger.” I roll my eyes but can’t really complain green is my color.
She’ll starts on my makeup. She doesn’t do a whole lot that I’m thankful for. Just foundation, blush, tan glitter eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss. Much to her displeasure. She wanted to do red lips. But I shook my head no it’s my first day at school not on a date.
She starts curling my hair and putting it in a half up and half done style. She turns me to look in the mirror. I just stare at myself I can’t believe I actually look good. Stella laughs and winks. “Now for the final piece of this master piece the romper.”
I take off my robe and slip on the romper it’s a tank top shorts romper but it’s flowy at the bottom so it looks like a dress almost. It’s a little bit shorter than I would like but it doesn’t show my a** which is good. I twirl in the mirror. “Now Jo no one will think you are a boy today. You will make heads turn and people to stop and stare. They will definitely want you!”
I laugh. “I’m nothing special but thank you Stella!” “Now let’s go out and show everyone who Jo is!” Stella says smirking.
I think to myself oh boy what are we about to get into. Shaking my head. “Let’s go!”
