The Missing Bronze Cat Statue

The stormy and thunderous night came to its extinction. Sam woke up that day full of enthusiasm and spirits as the hectic hours of school came to its eradication. The summer vacation commenced.  The 15-year-old boy kicked off  the stairs to wake up his beloved brother Mat, a naughty 10-year-old lad. They were both die-hearted fans of Sir Sherlock Holmes and resolved many theft and petty cases in their neighborhood  and thus earned the title “Sherlock Brothers”. They also had a mature labrador dog named Rocky.They both went downstairs to eat their mouth-watering food. It was pancakes filled with lots of honey, but the honey vanished into thin air, leaving the pancakes behind. After finishing the food, they sat down to watch resourceful television. They were flabbergasted and startled to see that the bronze cat statue from their country’s most famous museum in Siliran had been pilfered. Sam was stupefied when he perceived that this catastrophic robbery was done by an individual and not by a horde of people. The CCTV cameras became the savior and proved that the kleptomaniac was masked and wearing a black dress and thus it was difficult to deduce his identity. The only vital information is that, according to the burglar’s height, the shoes were too enormous for the mugger as his size of foot was 7 but he was wearing a size 9 shoe.  Sam disregarded this and didn’t pay much heed to it as he was, too, influenced by many other things. He had a football tournament in the evening. He had to purchase some perishables for his mother and play with his brother. He was overcrowded with chores but he completed all of them at lightning speed. He played football with his brother and prepared himself to proceed to the ground. Most of his companions were debating about the statue's missing statue and he, too, unknowingly attended the conversation.  After playing, he went home on four legs as he was very exhausted  and directly slept without even changing his filthy clothes. The next morning, Sam burst out of the frustration of school into the innocent cycle. He tortured his brother to cycle with him. As they were cycling up the eaves along the road, they came across their uncle, Mr Philip, who was trotting along the footpath. They stopped because he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Central Investigation Bureau and Sam wanted to inquire for the latest updates on the theft because Mr Philip was the Chief of the Special Investigation Team organized by the President to nab the culprit of the missing statue. The major updates were there was a red cloth and a few pieces of hair, the statue was worth over 100,000 dollars and thus the thief should be kicked inside the jail as soon as possible. The most dumbfounded and awestruck moment was that the museum was the world’s most secure museum, consisting of 3 layers of security. The first layer consisted of the country’s most trained military, the second layer consisted of laser beams that would detect even a molecule and the third layer was a wooden floor with trap holes and shooting knives and weapons, and in the center of the floor was the most gorgeous Cat Statue enclosed in a glass slab, the larcenist poured Hydrofluoric acid to dissolve the glass slab enclosing the statue, but the disastrous news was that the hairpieces found were fake and the red cloth was scented ,free of any fingerprints, and Mr Philip also pointed out that a 6-member team was going to the museum in Siliran, which is around 500 kilometers from his current location. Sam cycled to his house with a solitary thought and that was to go to Siliran, but there were boundless issues. He had to convince his parents, Uncle Philip, and leave all his commitments for vacation, but he wanted the entire country to realize the potential of the Sherlock Brothers. He slept that night with this thought and next day he woke up with the sole motive to ask his mom and dad to allow him to go to Siliran, at first his parents hesitated but perceiving his talent at solving cases. Next was Mr Philip. He cycled to his house with a black-less mind and expressed his desire. Mr Philip disagreed at the moment because his life could be in danger if he was involved in the investigation, but Mr Philip had to lose in front of a 15-year-old. Mr Philip said that Sam and Mat and Rocky could go to Siliran but should not go beyond his instructions. Sam was at the top of the moon and dashed home to tell his brother and parents. His entire family was euphoric. Sam had to pack up his bags abruptly. As the flight to Siliran was the day after tomorrow night, Sam couldn’t sleep that night due to his pointless questions. He theft and finally just what we call the calmness before a storm the big day came and Sam was ready to pounce onto the thief, he went to the airport to meet Mr Philip and during the flight trip, Mr Philip elucidated the agenda, the first and foremost action was to visit the site, The whole team reached Siliran, the team comprised of Mr Mark(Officer of the Forensic Department) Mr Stephen(Officer of the Central Investigation Department) Mr James(Officer of the Research Analysis Wing) Mr John(Officer of the Central Bureau of Investigation) and Miss Anna( Officer of the Police Department) and finally Mr Philip, Sam, Mat and Rocky.
