I stared at my Beta, Moses, for what felt like an eternity. My mind was reeling, struggling to process what he had just told me. Was he really telling the truth? The implications of his confession were staggering.
I walked back to the couch and sank into it, looking up at him with a mix of disbelief and confusion. After a few seconds, I finally found my voice.
