I sit here and I am going over some last minute details with my father about my son's Alpha ceremony this weekend. He along with Damien will be giving their blessings to him infront of everyone. I watch Amelia walk in and she looks at me and looks away. She came here to work for my father after her relationship with Miles ended. It was hard not just on them, but on us as their parents as well. We are all very close and although we have tried to stay close, I am not going to lie this all caused a rift in our relationship. Mostly the guys though. Domi and I stayed great friends. Logan on the other hand, mostly keeps to himself. When he found out that his daughter was pregnant he flipped on all of us, even Domi got an earful that night. He wanted to kill Miles and shot Damien in the leg when he tried to defend Miles. Eventually he calmed down and promised us not to tell Melly that he knew. I think she didn't want to upset him and be a disappointment and that's why she hadn't told him. At first, I was upset when I found out that she was pregnant, especially after we found out they weren't mates, but when we found out that she had lost the pup I felt so guilty for being upset. Domi didn't tell me anything else about it though. All we were told is that Melly lost the pup and noone has ever spoken about it since. I tried to bring it up once to Domi when we were alone and she said it was too difficult to talk about. She said Melly suffered alot and they just had to move on from that tragedy. I feel like my son never got closure though and I feel like he carries the loss with him to this day, but as I watch Lexi ask my father for her position for tomorrow I realize that she has the same expressions that Miles does. They both always look sad. Although Melly usually does really well in hiding it. She can fake her happiness, but for us that know her since she was a pup, we know that she isn't truly happy. My father gives her her assignment for tomorrow and she bows her head and excuses herself. Damien was mind-linking me earlier telling me his little thoughts about getting Melly and Miles together to talk so they can both get closure and I actually have an even better idea. She walks out and I tell my father to give her the weekend off and I grab an invitation to the ceremony. He is planning on rejecting his mate because she is a nasty person and he doesn't see their relationship going anywhere so it is only right for me to invite Amelia right? Right, go Cupid Mama. Get our pup back with his true love. My wolf Ada tells me and she is so right. Melly loved my son, I hope she still does. She hasn't found her mate. She works alot and usually spends her free time with Wolf and her close friend and co-workers. I was actually afraid when people started saying that Wolf and Amelia were together and that is why Logan gave him the Alpha position, but it turns out that it was just a rumor.

"Melly" I yell as I catch up to her. "Can I walk and talk to you for a bit?" I ask her, She nods. "How have you been? My father is really happy with all of your hard work. He was asking me about sending you to our elite team. Would you like that?" I ask her, "Really?" her face lights up. "I would love to be an elite." she says. "We will have to train you and we can start next week so you have the weekend off, I am sure my father will let you know tomorrow as well. Congrats" I say and hug her. "Wolf is also on that list, Your father trained you both well." I say and she beams at the praise. Melly loves her father and Wolf both more than anything. Now I just pray that my plan works. I sigh and look a little sad. "Thank you so much Luna Lexi, but are you okay?" she asks me. I shake my head and wipe a fake tear from my face. "No I am not. There's so much going on at home and I do not know what to do. I don't even know who to talk to about it." I say. "You can talk to me if you'd like" she offers and I nod and walk us over to a bench. "Please, do not tell anyone what I am about to tell you" I tell her "Okay" she says. "We found out that my son's mate is a cold, evil, selfish woman. We have heard her call him horrible names and from what he told us she is disgusted with the way he looks." I tell her. I probably shouldn't be doing this and I pray that Miles never finds out because he will be so upset, but I will try anything to get my son to smile the way he would with Amelia. Melly looks horrified. "What do you mean when you say she calls him horrible names? Miles has always been self conscious about the way he looks. Why would his own mate call him names" she asks me and she is right, no mate should ever act this way. "We heard her call him leatherface and he didn't tell us what else she has called him when they were in Alpha training, but we know she is disgusted by his scars." I tell her. "Wow, that's so messed up. Now I wish I would have went there. I would have beat her aśś if I heard her being cruel to him." she says and I know deep in my heart that she truly means that. Why moon goddess? Why were they not paired together? "Yeah, well he is having his Alpha ceremony this weekend and I think it would be great to get the old crew back. You, him, his sister and Alexander all together. I think it would cheer him up and they would all be happy to see you." I tell her trying to make her believe that it isn't just to see Miles, but the look she gives me lets me know that she is on to me, but she doesn't say anything. She gets up and smiles. "Thank you for the invitation. I will try to make it. Can I bring someone with me?" she asks and my heart sinks. "Bring someone? Are you in a relationship?" I ask her praying that she says no. She shakes her head and I feel like I can breathe again. If she moved on, then this would all be for nothing. "Just want to bring Wolf" she says and I nod. I know my son isn't really fond of him, but if it means Melly will come then he is invited. "See you this wekeend honey and again, congratulations on the promotion. You deserve it." I tell her and walk to my car and go home.

I get home and go up to my room, before I even get there I can hear yelling coming from I believe it is the library. I walk over there and I can not believe what I am hearing. "I am not sure what you expect from me Miles" Joy yells. "I don't expect anything from you, but you can atleast be nice to people here. They are serving you, no need to go crazy on them. They are human beings just like you and I both." Miles tells her calmly. "Look Miles, I do not care about you or any of these Omega's okay. You know why I am here. I have no choice. I am the Luna to this pack. You and your wolf need me or else you will be weakened and die. Do you want that? To be weak or die and your pack fall apart?" she asks him. He laughs. "You are delusional" he tells her and Ada dances around proudly that her pup is defending himself. "Look leatherface, you are the one that is delusional. Look at you, then look at me. Do you really think that I want to be seen with you? I do not deserve this, but my father is forcing me to stay here. He will not take me back. He said I have to stay here and be the Luna. It is what's best for both packs, if not I would have rejected your sorry aśś and left. You don't even go out, you don't have friends. All you do is work. Once we have our Alpha and Luna ceremony this weekend things will change okay. I am kicking your parents out of this house, that way noone will know that we are in seperate rooms or be all up in our business. We need to figure out the marking situation. You're disgusting and just thinking about you touching me is making me breakout. I am going to have to be super drunk." she says and I have heard enough, this little girl is disgusting talking to my son like this. "Ugh, we will figure this all out after the ceremony. I also need money to buy myself a couple of dresses. I want to look radiant that day. Better than any other she wolf there" she says. Oh I will make sure of that little miss Joy. I think to myself. Noone messes with my pup and gets away with it.
