Harper His head tilted down. Closer. Close enough that I could feel the heat radiating off his skin, could count the gold flecks drowning in amber. His breath grazed my lips, warm and uneven, and every nerve ending in my body lit up like a switchboard. My eyes closed. On their own. Without consulting me. Without so much as a memo.
