I had not seen my mom in a while and God knows, she did not look any better. The Doctor came in, greeted everyone in the room and with very sad eyes, he told me she was in a very critical condition and that we can only pray she survives. I looked at him and with a smile, I told him it was okay, he nodded at me and stepped out. Hitoshi then asked me if I was alright, I told him that it was fine, it just felt like it would rain soon enough, he looked outside, laughed and told me that it wasn’t going to rain soon because the day was as bright as ever, but as the tears rolled down my face, I told him it was raining and this one time, he agreed with me. The entire Hanagaki family then got up and wrapped me in one big hug, Mr Hitoshi then told me everything will be fine and that I’ve always got them. I thanked everyone and after I told my mom to get well soon oh and also that I loved her, we headed home. We got home and boom, Mr Hitoshi had a surprise for both I and Hitoshi, he had gotten both of us black Mercedes cars, I had no idea what benz version this was but it looked very expensive and it was a convertible. I was overjoyed and simply bowed in appreciation, Hitoshi joined me as we both thanked his father profusely. I asked Hitoshi if we could resume school now and he informed me that we could have resumed days ago if I was alright, he told me that the school had called to reverse my suspension like days ago and that I was to resume as soon as possible oh and also, even though we had not yet written our graduation exams, Invincible university had, made a request to accept me into their school if I passed the graduation exams, I honestly didn’t know how to feel but that was really quite impressive. We went in and I headed straight into my room and oh boy, you would not believe it, Mr Hitoshi had cloned the clothing I wore to receive my HAL, apparently, I had around over a hundred of the same clothing, he even had the same mask for me, hundreds of the same mask. I guess this would now be my very own costume. Something bothered me though, I had passed out after fighting Genghis, I literally had no strength and let’s be honest, if he had a partner, his partner could have just killed me right there. I had to train myself to get stronger, I wore the heart rate watch to see my level of power and it was just at a miserly eleven percent, I had to work and train much harder. I was still thinking about such random things when Mia walked in, she closed the door behind her and simply walked up to hug me. She told me that she was so glad I was alright because she was so worried about me, I told her it was fine and as she looked up to catch a smile on my face, she could only look down and blush, her face was very red at that particular moment. I looked up and saw Hitoshi looking at us, wait, how had he come in without me noticing? Hadn’t Mia closed the door? He had the most bored face in like the history of bored faces, he clapped his hands, said wonderful in a sarcastic tone, told us his dad was expecting both of us in the living room and simply just left. I and Mia headed out immediately and met Mr Hitoshi in the living room, everyone was actually in the living room, Mr Hitoshi asked me to have a meal immediately after he had talked to me. I nodded and he begun, he told me that I still needed a lot of training and that I needed to build up my strength, he then looked at Hitoshi and told him he also had to train. He asked me if I needed someone to train me but I disagreed, I told him not to worry, I would train myself, he looked at Hitoshi and Hitoshi also mentioned that he would train himself. Mr Hitoshi then told I and Hitoshi to follow him, he took us into a gym at their backyard, honestly, this gym was huge, really huge. He asked if this would do and I just had to say yes cause goddamn, this place had almost every gym equipment. He then took us into a large but empty room, it had nothing but an equally large mat at the centre, he then told I and Hitoshi that it was at this very place that we would train. He told us we would have hand to hand combat here and I just nodded because that was just such a good idea. He told me to go in and have lunch, so, whenever I was done, we could train when I wanted. I went in and did just what he said. I had a lunch of sandwiches and some fruit juice, I rested for about ten minutes, doing something you would call petty. I was watching videos of me in action and honestly, I was really really cool, especially the last fight against Genghis, it was epic, the caption of the fight was also really crazy, it said Black Knight does what Mr Invincible could not, he defeats the great Genghis Kandhar. I just laughed and after I had had my fill. I told Hitoshi to meet me in the gym and just went out to the gym. We did all sorts of exercises and trained our bodies as best as we could. When we were done and both significantly tired, I told Hitoshi that we had to have hand to hand combat training. He asked if we could do it tomorrow because he was very tired but I told him no because we had to learn how to fight when we were weak, just in case the time came to fight when we were excessively tired. He reluctantly agreed with very sad eyes and we headed into the combat room. I then told Hitoshi that today, instead of focusing on his strength, we would focus on his weaknesses and his weaknesses I had noticed were his speed and his durability, he asked me if that mattered since he was super strong, I told him it did because regardless of how strong he was, if I could kill him before he landed a hit, he would be a loser and more importantly, he would be dead. I told him that for this training exercise, he would attack me and I would defend myself, I would not attack him with any strength but I would defend myself, he nodded and just before we could begin, Mia walked in, she told us to carry on, she just wanted to watch us train. I nodded and we begun, Hitoshi tried to punch me on the left side of my face but he was simply too slow, even though I was barely using any of my speed, I dodged his punch and watched him fall face flat to the floor as I tripped him. He got up and did something very stupid, he tried to kick me in my face, I simply grabbed his leg and threw him like a Frisbee, he crashed to the floor and just groaned ouch, he wasn’t done though, he tried to punch the right side of my face but at the last moment, he feinted and tried to punch the left side, I was caught wide open, I had to increase my speed a little bit, I increased my speed, slapped his hand away and tripped him as he fell face flat on the floor, he got up again and asked if that was good, I told him he had really tried but he needed to try harder for me to take him seriously. He nodded and he came at me again and this time, he did land a hit, I had decreased my speed a whole lot again and as he came this time, he aimed a punch on my jaw, he feinted that, aimed a punch at my chest, also feinted that, pulled back and jumped a little, then, he aimed a kick at my right side with his left leg and as I prepared to block his kick, he hit me on the right side of my head, his kick was so powerful that it drove me straight into the wall leaving a dent. I got up and congratulated him but he could go on no further, that kick had sprained his ankle and although, I had put my durability at a level that it was almost off, he had still manage to injure himself without causing me any harm, it was sad but it was the simple truth, Hitoshi still needed a whole lot of training. I communicated all these to him and he simply nodded in agreement. I and Mia then helped get him inside, we were applying band aid when Felicia came in and simply healed his leg in seconds. We had dinner together and I simply went to bed immediately because I was exhausted and just beyond tired. I went to bed around seven thirty and oh well, unlike most days, I had no dreams today, I woke up to someone tapping, I was still really sleepy, so, I was not really fully functional, it was Mr Hitoshi, he informed me that the police force had requested for backup at the Lith jewellery store, apparently, there was a member of the dark phoenix there, he had gotten hostages and he had also claimed to be the one behind the robbery and arson at MaineTech, I immediately flared up, what? He was the one behind my mom being in the hospital, I got out of bed immediately and Mr Hitoshi just calmed me down. He told me to keep my calm and just be level headed. He told me to not chase vengeance but justice. He then further explained that the robber had a wall of never ending flames between himself and the police, oh and also, he was trying to melt the vault which was at the store, considering how thick the tungsten vault was. I told Mr Hitoshi I would do my best but I also asked why no other hero was called instead, he said all the heroes in the city were away investigating the dark phoenix and the ShiSui (Death Water) clan, I asked if it was possible for the Dark Phoenix and members of the ShiSui to work together, given the fact that their powers were the exact opposites, the dark phoenix contained people with fire and heat related powers while the Shisui clan contained people who used only ice and water. Mr Hitoshi told me that in a world like this and in times like this, anything was possible, he told me to get ready, so that he could drive me off to the store, I told him that was too slow, I was going to fly there. He simply just looked at me in awe and shocked, he asked rhetorically, so, you can also fly? I humoured by saying yes I could and he simply just said wow and left. I put on a copy of my costume, jumped out the window and simply flew to the Lith jewellery store, you would think that I would be slow in flying but oh boy, would you be very wrong. I flew at super speed and got to the Lith store in about three seconds. The first thing I saw was the wall of flame and oh boy, was it huge, the store was really bit alright but the flame surrounded the store, whoever could do this while still holding melting tungsten must be excessively strong. I swooped down and simply held my breath, then, I blew concrete ice and the fire just simply calmed down but I didn’t stop until I saw who was creating the flame, then, I froze half of his but he did not stop melting the vault and simply started melt the part of his body I had frozen up. I froze his other hand and simply refroze the part he had already melted my ice, he however increased his heat and he was free in seconds, he shook his hand to get the water off and as he decided to aim his hands at me, I flew to him and super speed, then, I held his two hands and crushed them in mine, he screamed out in excruciating pain as the cops came in to free the hostages. I continued to crush his hands even after I felt his bones coming out of his flesh and snapping against the force I was applying. He continued to scream out in pain but I didn’t stop until all that was left of his hands was minced flesh and crushed bones, then, I pulled him close to and gave him an head butt but I did that with as little power as I could, it was still significantly effective though, as he staggered back and even though his hands were gone, he tried to use them on his face as he cried out in excruciating pain. I went out and told the cops that they could get him now and they duly arrested him, taking him in to the hospital first. The commissioner of police personally came to give me a big thank you for handling this like a professional and without any casualties. I nodded and told him it was fine, I had always planned on doing good, he laughed and told me I had not done good, I looked at him clearly confused cause what was he saying, then, he told me, you did great, not GOOD…………………………………………………….
