Hero: The Dark Order

Episode 1: Beginning: Well, you see, it is generally believed that two thousand years ago, a large green meteor crashed into the Atlantic ocean and created the great tsunami’s which made countries become covered in green water, thereafter diseases became rampant and a whole lot of people died. A hundred years after the meteor crashed, diseases had been regulated and humans had started to live life normally when a new type of mutation occurred, a mutation that enabled people become superhuman, a mutation that enabled people do impossible things like creating fire or water but as we are probably already aware of, power tends to corrupt people and that’s just what happened, people started committing crimes with their new found powers and for that reason, the government of many nations then created the International Superhero Agency (ISA) to fight against crimes against super humans due to the inability of the police force in fighting them. That’s how superpowers came to be or at least that’s how they came to be according to Karl’s theory. A more sound theory would be the Maxs’s theory which talks about Adama and Eva who disobeyed the command of the creator of all things and ate of the forbidden fruit thereby gaining powers but losing their place in a place called Jannah or as I call it, paradise, this theory states that the only actual mutation would be the lack of super powers in some people, because that returned them to their original state as was in Jannah. Well, it does not matter which theory you believed, times have changed, about forty percent of the world now had superpowers and while the ISA had now become huge and much stronger, there were still much more villains than heroes and like that was not bad enough, villains were much stronger than most heroes, and super powered villains now mostly belonged in groups and now only participated in organized crimes. Things don’t look too bleak though, while we have the big five villain groups which includes the dark phoenix, the Shisui clan, the darkages, the antiheroes and well, the hell raiders, we also have the big three unbeatable heroes, Mr Invincible, Magnetficent and coldfire. Mr Invincible was most especially feared because he was practically impossible to beat, he had super strength, superhuman speed, he could blow out fire or ice from his mouth, he could fly and he was super durable, you would literally break your hand if you punched him. Magnetficent could actually manipulate metals as he saw fit, he can change their shape and control metals as much as he wants and Mr coldfire could simply use Ice and Fire simultaneously. Of the three, my favourite is Mr Invincible, he just seemed perfect, although, rumours go around that he has been around for over a hundred years but you know, that’s beyond impossible. Mr Invincible was my role model, yeah, it’s stupidly impossible, why? Well, you remember that time I said about 40 percent of the world was super powered, well, I belong in the other 60 percent, I have no superpowers so, I could actually not become a superhero or so I thought, you see, by the age of ten, most people would have manifested their superpowers, I am sixteen now and like all the members of my family, I have no superpowers but since I at least still want to save people, I will join the police force but unknown to me, my life was about to drastically change. It was on the last day of our winter break, news had been going around of how the big three were fighting the five largest criminal groups at the same time in Soula and God knows, things were not looking good for the big three, other heroes who had joined in the fight were instantly killed, the fight had been going on for days and the calamities were in the thousands, people were advised to stay home but even that did not guarantee safety. I went out to get some milk and on my way back, I decided to take a shortcut by going through hope alley and the craziest thing happened, Mr Invincible crashed right in front of me, what the hell? I thought they were fighting a country away, how in God’s name did he get here. I was still in shock when he called me to come closer, he asked for some milk and as I gave him, he asked me if I had any powers, I sighed and told him no, he then smiled and told me thank God, he then told me to lean in and he whispered to me that he wanted to give me his powers, I gasped and looked at him, what? That’s supposed to be impossible, he laughed and told me that was impossible for most people but not for him, I asked him how and why he would give me his powers, he told me he did not have a whole lot of time and that he had to give me his powers right now, he told me to outstretch my hands and as he held my hand in a tight handshake, I saw a golden ray of light pass from his hands into mine, he then told me to be careful and that my dreams would guide me into using this my new found power properly. I told him okay and with that said, Mr Invincible grew into an old man who then turned into dust, as I looked on in shock and bewilderment, I noticed a couple of people were approaching, I immediately began running and woah, what the hell? I was running way too fast, impossibly fast and my clothes no longer sized me, some parts tore, I had grown taller and much more muscular, I ran and did not stop running till I got home and went straight in, luckily, mom was up in her room, I tried to find clothes that would fit me but none of my clothes were my size and I had grown considerably faster, I had to barge into my elder brother’s room, which was a very bad idea because I must have super strength now, the door flew across the room and that seemed to have woken my mom up, I put on some of my brother’s clothes and came out to see my mom looking at me in awe, she was so shocked and asked me, Riyadh, have you been to the barbershop, your hair looks so good, also, why do you look taller, I looked at her oddly and told her I was fine but seriously, I was really tired. I told her later and went to bed straight away but my body was now bigger than my bed and I was really uncomfortable, I had to leave my room and just go to my elder brother’s room. I slept so long and had the most interesting dream but then, I woke to my mom screaming my name, the first reason was because I was late for school, I don’t remember that ever happening, the second reason was because she had seen what I had done to the door of my elder brother’s room and you could say that she was not happy about it, she screamed at me for doing it and I apologized and told her I was sorry, she told me okay but that I had to hurry up for school, I told her okay and headed straight into the bathroom, I was brushing my teeth when I saw my face, woah, woah, woah, I looked really good, damn, my receding hairline was now perfect, I had perfect teeth which was the exact opposite of what I had earlier, my skin was so fresh and I had grown lighter, also, my hair was way darker now, as though I dyed it, my hair also had sporting waves and they were perfectly aligned, I looked really good if I do say so myself. I had my bath and after drying myself up, I went into my big brother’s room and put on a grey hoodie, a blue jean, his grey Nike Air Jordan, and a blue jean jacket. I had honestly not gone into his room in years, ever since that unfortunate event, well, you see, if you were falling from a plane without a parachute, you probably should not think about falling into water, you would die instantly. My brother found that out with his life. Anyways, I grabbed my bag, kissed my mom goodbye and went off to school and onto a new BEGINNING…………………………………….........
