I was about to be on my back home when the commissioner of police called me over and introduced me to two people, they were Mr Richard Lith and his first and only daughter, Annabelle Lith. I have to be honest, they radiated affluence, this Anna girl was really wearing a diamond necklace, holy hell. Mr Richard thanked me heavily for helping him and even though I vehemently argued that I deserved no compensation because this was only the right thing to do, he forced me to accept an iced out watch, just by looking at it, you could tell that it literally cost a fortune. He thanked me once again for standing up for him because the strong do what they can, while the weak suffer what they must, he told me it was comforting for him to know that there was someone strong out there who stood up for the weak. I told him it was fine and just then, his daughter, Annabelle hugged me tightly and we exchanged contacts, they left immediately leaving me with the commissioner who just smiled and told me that my life just got significantly better. I smiled and told him I was heading home but he refused to let me fly home, he told me that the state had prepared a car for me and as we headed towards the car, we became surrounded by reporters, I wanted to take questions but the police cleared the way and I was on my way home soon enough. I got home and immediately after Mr Hitoshi hugged me, I went straight to bed. I woke up about an hour after everyone and you just would not believe it, I was on the news again, all sorts of headlines like the black knight strikes again, there was one that was way weirder it went like, in the dead of night, as darkness creeps to destroy the light, who would you call if not the black knight, to stand up and fight. Hitoshi knocked me for not calling him to join in the action but while I felt nothing, I’m sure his hand hurts as hell as he screamed out in pain. I told him I didn’t call him because it was something I could handle alone, it was not something that his great expertise was needed on, he said that’s right nerd, as everyone burst out in laughter. We all got ready for the day and after breakfast, I and Hitoshi headed for school straight away, all eyes were on me in school, I could hear it clearly, everyone was talking about and looking at me. We begun first period and Mr Dunbar was oddly nice to me, he reminded me that our hero entrance exams were the day after tomorrow, I told him that yeah, I definitely remembered that the hero entrance exams was in just a day even though I had actually totally forgotten about it. He continued the class and just then, someone opened the door, he was about my age but he was covered in ash and blood, he had s***h scars on his hands and a very long straight scar on the right side of his face, it extended from his forehead to the top of his lower jaw and just slightly disfigured his face, nah, who am I kidding, it heavily disfigured his face. I wanted to ask him what had happened to him but I kid you not, this boy disappeared from the door, and reappeared behind Mr Dunbar, he put his hand on Mr Dunbar’s head and Mr Dunbar began to turn into ash, his head turned into ash and the boy withdrew his hand to let blood gush out from his neck, I stood up in immense shock as he disappeared again and just then, I felt his hands on my neck, I swallowed as he told me he would turn my neck to ash if I did as little as breathe, he then told me his name was Raydeane Khandar, he was arrogant enough to spell it out for me but I was too scared to actually do anything stupid because he could actually kill me at the moment. He mentioned that he was the new leader of the dark phoenix after I did him the favour of getting rid of his father. He the reiterated that why he was glad I got rid of his father, I had to also leave because I was getting in his way and that was seriously starting to piss him off. I told him I would not get in his way again and as he laughed, I felt his hands relaxing off his neck, I tried to smack him and he instantly teleported in front of me, he immediately tried to grab my neck with his right hand but I slapped his forehand away and aimed a punch at his face, he pushed his head backwards and immediately tried to touch my hand with his left hand but just before our hand connected, I kicked his right leg and he immediately disappeared, I felt it again, a kick was heading for my head, I grabbed his right leg with my right hand and dragged him forward without even looking back, but he just tried to hold my head with his left hand mid-air, I immediately dodged and slammed him to the floor as hard as I could, I then looked around and saw everyone still in class, some people were even filming the fight, I shouted for everyone to get out and they ran outside all except Hitoshi who wanted to help, I told him to also get out as Raydeane got up, coughing up some blood and laughing as blood flowed from his forehead, I actually felt a little sorry for him, he was so young and he was already covered in scars, I wondered what horrible life he must have had. I asked him why he would want to become a villain, I told him that this was a fight he could not win and that if he gave up now, I would put in a good word for him, rather than rendering him useless. He told me, “Why you ask? Well, a child who is not embraced by his village will burn it down just to feel its warmth”, I was still trying to wrap my head around his very deep words when we heard the emergency bell, he frowned and I got ready for another transportation but instead, he just coughed out more blood and then, screamed out in pain as some of the blood from his forehead got into his eyes, he disappeared again and this time, he actually did not reappear. I sat down, a little tired because I had gone through this fight at my top speed, and that just made me realise that I had to get a lot faster. The police arrived soon afterwards as Mr Dunbar’s body was taken for examining and I had to give a detailed report of what happened. It took only a few minutes and I was trending again, reports of what had happened was everyone along with different videos of different length, obviously, they probably didn’t start filming at the same time. There was a particular hashtag trending, it was the #stay strong black knight, people thought I was devastated by what happened to Mr Dunbar but I honestly really didn’t care. I don’t know why, I mean come on, I never hated him or anything but it wasn’t like I loved him or anything, I was actually totally numb, I felt absolutely nothing but you could say, I felt really bad for not feeling anything, that was such an evil thing given the context it was at. School was cancelled for the day and according to the principal, school was cancelled indefinitely and the only people allowed to come were we, the final years and we were only to come on Wednesday, for our hero entrance examinations and just then, the emergency assembly was dismissed, Mr Hitoshi came with Mia and we headed home immediately, also, for our own good, both I and Hitoshi were grounded, in order to not get into any more fighting, Hitoshi fumed but his dad mentioned that he could have people over if he wanted and that I could go on hero missions too but we were both banned from ever going out at the moment. I and Hitoshi then nodded as Mia smirked at Hitoshi for absolutely no reason. We got home and immediately after we ate lunch, I asked Hitoshi if he wanted to do some training and immediately said yes, we headed straight for the gym and I mentioned that I would be doing only speed enhancing exercises, he nodded and told me that he would also be doing that because that was probably his greatest weakness, we exercised for about three hours, cracking jokes and getting bathed in sweat. Hitoshi got tired at that time and we decided to take water breaks, we had a break for about twenty minutes and then, we headed into the combat room, it was time for combat training. I told Hitoshi that we would do the same thing as yesterday and then, we began, Hitoshi ran towards me and then, he tried to put both of his hands on both sides of my face and as I tried to grab his hands, he jumped and tried to kick my chest with both feet, but I instead pulled away, dodged to the right side and gently slapped his face mid-air, he hit the wall immediately, leaving a significant dent. He screamed out ouch, obviously in a lot of pain but I just told him to get up and mentioned that I held back a whole lot, I then reminded him that our enemies would not hold back in any way. He smiled and nodded at me but rather than come at me immediately, he went to the extreme end of the left hand side and that’s when I actually saw it for the first time, there were weapons here, Hitoshi grabbed a lot of shurikens and a sword as he then told me that he would also definitely not be holding back. I smiled and we immediately begun, Hitoshi threw about three shurikens at me with super strength and that greatly increased their speed, he threw them smartly as well, he threw one to the right side, one to the left, and one right in front of me. I immediately just dodged all three by going down and as I went back up, one hit me in the head, wow, Hitoshi must have thrown it immediately I went down and I just had to appreciate that, that was very smart, the shiruken bounced off my forehead and lodged in the door, just above Mia’s head who had just come through the door as she screamed holy hell at both of us. Hitoshi looked at her and begun apologizing but I immediately attacked, I punched him straight in the face twice, elbowed in the face once and grabbed his head as I threw him across the room. I did all that while significantly holding my strength back in order to not kill him and then, I told him to never take his eyes off his enemy. He looked at me fiercely with a bleeding nose, holy hell, I used almost none of my strength and I still did that much damage? He crouched and used his super strength to propel himself up and headed straight for me but I simply just flew towards him, slapped his face mid-air, he tilted with his body now lying parallel and his back facing the ground. I then gave him a barrage of punches and simply hit him with a hard kick as he plummeted to the ground and groaned out in pain, I had held my strength back a lot, but it was just enough to force him to yield. We got and followed Mia back inside as we all had dinner together, a family so HAPPY…………………………………………….
