I dropped the driver and Hitoshi immediately, I looked at Mr Hitoshi and asked him where she was, he looked at me, smiled and told me she was still in the hospital. I didn’t even think once, I went up into the sky immediately and flew straight to the hospital. I had not really had the best of times lately but oh damn, this is probably the best news I have heard lately. I got to the hospital and oh well, my mom was awake but she didn’t look too great anyways, she was still covered in bandages and she was in a wheelchair but God be good, she was awake and that was just fine. She smiled at me and I ran over to her, I gave her a tight hug but as she groaned, I realised that she probably had not fully healed, given her bandages and all. She looked at me and I burst into tears as I held her hands, I was so glad she was alright, I told her just how glad I was about her being alright. She looked at me and told me just how proud she was of me and the man I had become, she mentioned that my dad and elder brother would sincerely be proud of me and I don’t know why but tears just flowed freely down my face, her words were touching my very soul and they made me beyond happy, just then, Mr Hitoshi walked in, he greeted my mom, congratulated her on recovering and began to tell her how good a boy I had been since she was sick, she tapped my head and while I was smiling, Coldfire came in and he was sincerely not happy with me, he frowned at me and told me we had to talk, he didn’t even greet my mom or Mr Hitoshi, he just summoned me and walked out. I was going to ask my mom for permission to leave but she just nodded and I went out immediately. I greeted Coldfire immediately because regardless of why he had come here, he was still the number three hero or should I say number two since Mr Invincible was now gone. He disregarded my greeting and asked me why I had killed the two robbers this afternoon, I looked at him and told him I had no choice, he looked at me, frowned harder and in a higher tone, he told me he had seen me in action, I could move at superhuman speeds, I could have carried the two people who were around and come back to properly fight the two robbers. I looked at him and told him that seemed like the only choice to me. He looked at me and told me to be a man of focus, commitment and the strongest will, he told me I could have taken those people in without killing them because as a hero, when you decide to do something, you work hard till you achieve what you had set out for, excuses are for lazy and irresponsible people. He told me that if I was to ever lose my way, I should simply just look for my destination in my heart. He told me he would not stress me on what had happened since it was a waste of time to worry about what if’s, he told me he just wanted me to be better and that was just it, I nodded and he just went on his way immediately. I went back in and as I turned the door knob, I heard my mom say this, “no Toshi, please no”. Hey yo, what the hell does she mean by Toshi, had my mom become acquainted to Mr Hitoshi, she had always called him Mr Hanagaki, why the actual f**k was she calling him Toshi now, well, whatever, that was not my business, I came in anyways and my mom told me she has been discharged, Mr Hitoshi had hired a nanny for her, something I thanked him for, also, I could choose if I wanted to stay with him or with her, I told him I would prefer to stay with neither because I was actually hoping to go on a free vacation with Annabelle, my mom looked at me confused, she asked who Annabelle was, Mr Hitoshi told her it was just little Miss Lith, my mom’s eyes widened with surprise as she looked at me in astonishment, she asked if Lith actually meant the actual Lith’s, I nodded and she just smiled and told me I could surely go, she told me I actually deserved to go after the hell I had gone through, something I could quite agree with her on. I told Annabelle that I could come now and she simply told me that she was hoping I would say that, she told me I had to come to the Souchester docks tomorrow though and I agreed to do just that. We got my mom home soon enough and I just went to bed immediately cause I was simply tired. I woke up six am and immediately begun to get ready, I had my bath, brushed and put on a blue suit, it was my finest suit and I decided I would put it on, I wore a pair of blue and white air Jordan one’s match, put on a couple of accessories and put on my Cartier glasses. I greeted my mom and booked a cab to the Souchester docks immediately after packing for the entire week that the vacation would last on. The cab got to the docks soon enough and oh hell, I called Annabelle and you sincerely could not believe what happened next. She appeared out of the blue and like me, she was dressed in all blue. She dressed really casually though, she wore a blue long sleeved t-shirt, a blue jean and a pair of light blue and white Nike shoe. She wore a diamond ring on the middle finger of her left hand and a silver chain that contained a blue diamond. Her clothing showed her beautiful shape and her blonde hair radiated well with her blue eyes in the sunlight, she screamed Liam the moment she saw me as I also screamed Bella, we then ran towards each other and hugged each other as tightly as we could with her head resting calmly on my chest. The hug lasted a minute as she told me how much she had missed me, she called one of her dad’s workers to help me in with my luggage as we continued to chat until we got onto the boat, or well, I really could not call this a boat, it was a cruise liner, it was a lot more huge than I could actually imagine, we got in and Annabelle showed me my room, it was right next to hers, she gave me the key-card and we went in together, oh hell, look at this place, it had a huge bed, a table and chair, it was air conditioned, there was a freezer with every sort of drink in it too. It was just wonderful, oh, lets not forget, it had cable television and let’s just say all the facilities looked good as hell. I and Annabelle sat down and we simply talked and caught up till it was time for lunch, one key part of our conversation was her super power and trust me, it was beyond cool, her super power was permeability, she could make herself pass through anything, and anything includes objects and people but there was a catch, she could not do it any longer than three minutes at a time and then, she had to wait thirty seconds before putting it into use again. I could only look at her in shock, she had a really strong super power if I was being honest. We went for lunch and oh damn, this buffet was just some crazy s**t, I had a very nice meal and then, we went back in but to Annabelle’s room this time, that’s when she told me she used to have a big crush on me, she told me before that, she had liked a guy called Justin Rice, I didn’t know who that was but oh well, it was cool since we liked our conversations so much. It was eight pm and we went out for lunch but oh well, we were literally not prepared for the shock that came next, a couple of masked men ran in, shot a few bullets in the air and told everyone to get down while simultaneously informing us all that this was a robbery and that no one would get hurt as long as we all complied, there were five armed men in the room, I calculated my options and came to conclusion that give their distance from each other, if I ran at top speed, I could unarm and knock them all out in milliseconds, it was worth noting that I could also do this without anyone being harmed. I did just that and in the blink of an eye, they were all unarmed and knocked out cold to the ground. I broke all their guns in half and headed outside, there, I saw the bodies of the security officials and a few bandits still around, I unarmed and knocked everyone of them out immediately and that’s when I saw how they had gotten in, they had connected a ladder from the ship to their own ship, I flew over and broke the ladder in half, ensuring that it couldn’t connect the two ships together anymore, then, I wrecked the bandit’s ship and tied up the bandits on both ships with a big, wide and thick rope. I then carried them in the bundle they were in, I carried them from the ocean back to Souchester and dropped them off at the police station, the cops asked me to prepare for a conference and get myself dried up, they also mentioned that I had an hour to get all of this done. I flew back to the ship which was now heading back to Souchester, I landed and went straight into my room, I put on my costume and as I went outside, I could see everyone applauding me, they thanked me for saving their lives and then, I asked Annabelle to attend the conference with me, something we agreed on and she went into her room in order to prepare. She came out soon enough and as I flew with her up in the sky, she screamed occasionally until we landed. We got back with a few minutes to spare, we did the conference, explained what had happened tonight and soon enough, her parents came for her and I really have to tell you, Annabelle was a carbon copy of her mom, the only difference was that her mom had green eyes and red hair, apart from that, she had every other feature from her mother and that included height and shape. She had her dad’s eyes and hair colour though, her dad thanked me profusely, and her mom just simply hugged us tightly while also thanking me. I stayed the night at a local motel and the next day, I headed home, it was on the fifteenth of March, it was my birthday, a special day but for very horrible reasons, it would become a day I would never forgot. I got home still in my costume and noticed the door wide open, I wondered why, I went in immediately and what I saw sent cold chills down my spine, the woman Mr Hitoshi had appointed to take of my mom was in half, like I could literally only see the upper half of her body, he blood had also become clotted up, she had been dead for quite a while. I called out for my mom and I heard a masculine voice reply, I don’t know why but I knew that voice and it was not from a good place. I ran upstairs immediately and then, I saw Raydeane Kandhar, he had his neck around my mom’s neck and then, he told me that if I did as little as breathe, he would kill my mom, he told me to sit on the floor and listen to him. I wanted to get my mom out of his hands but oh well, I had to do as he said. I sat down and he began his speech, he told me that the world had judged him to just be a simple murderer and they had adjudged him to be wrong but oh no, it wasn’t him who was wrong, it was the world, he told me he loved the world but the scariest and most painful thing is to be hated by the people you love. He told me that he doesn’t kill indiscriminately, he told me he had killed Mr Dunbar because he was a pedophile and that he had killed the woman downstairs because she had plans to kill my mom, he told me he was just a necessary evil. He then told my mom to confess her crimes to me, I told him I didn’t care what crimes she had committed, he should leave her alone, he told me to shut up and informed me that the next time I said a word, my mom would die, then, he told my mom to speak, her first sentence was for me to take off my mask because she wanted to see her son, I looked at Raydeane and he nodded as I slowly took off my mask in order to not annoy him. My mom then begun, she told me about how she had an affair with Mr Hitoshi while being married to my dad and how, Mr Hitoshi had murdered my dad when he found out and then, she covered up for Mr Hitoshi. The affair continued after my father’s death and soon enough, my elder brother also found out, a discovery that led to the end of his life, Mr Hitoshi had planned to kill me and he had told her in the hospital but she had refused to, so, instead, he planned to have her killed instead, I could only look on and cry on in disbelief as my mom dropped this unexpected set of events. The tears I cried became much more and I soon started losing sight that’s when my mom shouted I love you Riyadh, and then, I saw her, her neck was turning to ash, Raydeane had started, I ran towards her and he immediately teleported to my original location, I tore off the place that had already turned into ash but her body just kept turning to ash until her head fell off. I looked at her head on the floor in anger, and then, I looked at Raydeane, I was sincerely going to kill him. Raydeane then smiled at me and told me we were now even, a parent for a parent, I went mad with anger and charged at him but he just teleported to where my mom was, he asked me what he had done wrong, his dad had done evil and I had executed him, it was the same scenario with him and my mom, I honestly had no answer to that and I simply just charged at him again, this time, he teleported behind me and just before he could lay his hands on me, I turned and grabbed his left forearm, kicked his body and forced his left arm to separate from his body. He lodged in a wall and screamed in pain as blood oozed out of his injury, he teleported again but this time, he didn’t return, I screamed out in pain and promised to kill him the next time we met. I called the cops and told them everything that had happened, also, I called Annabelle and explained what had happened to her, she consoled me as much as she could but my mom betrayed me and all the members of our family and honestly, that sat with me. Annabelle told me that the scars that could not be seen were really the hardest to heal, she told me that while the past I’ve lost would never return, I needed to look forward, take my lessons from this and create a better future. She told me she was choosing her words carefully because words were like weapons, if used the wrong way, they could cause unbelievable damage, she told me to stand proud because I was a strong man, then, she consoled me a lot more and then, I told her to prepare for a video call and I wanted her to record this and post it everywhere she possibly could, she said okay and boom I got to work. I called Mr Hitoshi over to the abandoned store just near my house and then, I set up my phone for the live feed to Annabelle, she had connected all her devices to that feed and it was recording straight up, I was going to get Mr Hitoshi to confess to everything and wait for the law to f**k him up. He got there sooner than I expected, and oh yes, he admitted to everything, immediately he was done, I simply said souka (I see) and proceeded to leave but Mr Hitoshi grabbed me by the collar and hit me to the ground, I had to admit, he hit way harder than his son but he still punched like a b***h, he looked at me, smiled and told me he was here to murder me since I knew too much, I laughed at him and told him I was hoping he would say that, he looked at me sternly and asked me what I was going to do, he told me I had allowed a lot of bullshit in the past and that that would f**k me over today, he told me he, Hitoshi and Mia had no super powers, the super powers they had were stolen from me, when I was a kid, through DNA manipulation, he then told me he would have dug further if he knew I still had so much power in me but however, it was still possible as long as he doesn’t kill me today but that he planned to make me very close to actually dying. I told him, it didn’t matter what I allowed in the past, he really should not have messed with me today. I ripped out his eyes immediately and as he screamed in pain, I ripped off his left arm and threw it on the floor. He began to punch the air in vain as he was now blind, so, I ripped out his right kidney and as he screamed in pain, I crushed both of his legs causing him much more pain, then, I broke his left forearm but oh well, I guess he was dead because he didn’t say anything, but I ripped out his heart just to ensure that he stayed dead. I threw his heart on the floor, and looked at his dead body, I grabbed my phone to call the cops but they arrived right on cue. They asked if I was injured and they packed Mr Hitoshi’s body, the entire video and short versions of it were everywhere online as the head caption simply stated this words, pray for the black knight. I was trending and I had won but this feels like a total loss, I probably should have just stayed home, maybe I could have protected my mom and maybe then, I wouldn’t be ALONE……………………………...
